E-bike rider suffers non-life-threatening injuries after collision at Yonge and St. Clair
Toronto police investigating after a cyclist fell under a vehicle at Yonge and St. Clair on Friday July 12, 2025 (CP24 photo). Toronto police say a cyclist riding an e-bike was injured after allegedly falling beneath a vehicle at Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue late Friday night. In an email to officers say they were called to the scene at around 11:19 p.m. after reports that a cyclist had been struck. Upon investigation, police determined the rider 'fell off' the e-bike while in motion and subsequently went under the vehicle. The driver remained at the scene, and the cyclist was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on any charges laid at this time.

Teen cyclist critically injured after being hit by vehicle in midtown Toronto
A Toronto police cruiser is seen in this undated photo. A teenage cyclist has been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in midtown Toronto Saturday afternoon. Toronto police say they received a call just before 1 p.m. for a collision near Kenwood Avenue and Vaughan Road, north of St. Clair Avenue West. Toronto paramedics told CTV News Toronto the teen suffered critical injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police say.

Crews responding to Scarborough house fire find one person dead inside home: police

The fire broke out in the area of Brimley Road and Anson Avenue, near St. Clair Avenue West, at around 7:30 a.m. Police said the fire has been extinguished and an investigation into the incident is underway. Police seek info on man seen approaching children, committing 'indecent act' at park
Toronto police say they are investigating after a man allegedly approached children at a park, made physical contact and asked them for their names and other personal information before committing an indecent act. Police say they were called shortly after noon on Friday to Earlscourt Park in the St. Clair Avenue and Caledonia Road area, where an elementary school soccer tournament was taking place. They say the man allegedly picked up a child and placed them on his shoulders before putting them down when confronted by the child's mother. He was then seen allegedly filming the children on his phone and asking for their names, ages, phone numbers and addresses. Police also say the man, who is described as five-feet-eight inches tall, 30 to 40 years-old with a slim build, was observed standing near the playground committing an indecent act. The man also allegedly approached another child, grabbed them by the arm and asked them to come with him, but the child broke away and ran.
