Syndicate
It's that time of year again when the St Fintan's GAA Club is setting up its Euro Millions syndicate. The syndicate will play four lines (with plus) in each of the twice weekly Euro millions draws. The total cost for the year is €30 with the first draw on August 26 and the last draw on August 21, 2026. The full payment must be received by Monday, August 25. The numbers for the euro millions draw are 10, 22, 34, 35, 50-02, 09. 01, 06, 13, 41, 44,-06, 10. 11, 18, 40, 43, 46 – 06, 11. 13, 43, 45, 46, 50 – 04, 05. Why not take a chance 'it could be you'.

Chair Exercise
Interested in Chair Exercise classes? This class will include exercises in the chair as well as standing exercises using the chair as support. Focus will include movements for balance, mobility, stability and flexibility. Classes are held on Thursdays 10.11 a.m. at the Ballycogley Community Hall and all are welcome. Club lotto
The St Fintan's GAA Club in association with St Mary's Rosslare hold its fundraising lotto each Tuesday evening. Tickets for the draw cost €2 and are available from the usual seller's or from any committee member. The jackpot now stands at €15,000. The numbers drawn were 4, 17, 19 and 23. There was three match-three winners Conor Fox, Ann Keeling and Conal Grant. We thank you for your continued and generous support.
Condolences
We express our condolences to the family and friends of the late Deirdre Kielthy Carverry Cregg Ballycogley, who sadly died during the past week. Following her funeral Mass in St Fintan's church Mayglass Deirdre's remains were laid to rest in Mayglass cemetery. May she rest in peace.
St Fintan's
The club received planning permission for the building of its gym. On the playing field the intermediate football team needed a spirited second half performance in defending Taghmon-Camross and the same team was soundly beaten by St Mary's of Maudlintown. The junior B football team also suffered defeat when playing Kilmore and this team played Shelmaliers on Saturday evening last. The under-eight football team played a couple of games in Ballymore against St Martin's and St Mary's of Maudlintown. The under-14 football team overcame Crossabeg-Ballymurn and the under-16 hurling team defeated St James. In defeating St Abban's the minor team made it two wins from two games.
Temple Street Hospital
The Rowe family would like to thank St Fintan's GAA Club, the people of the parish of Ballymore-Mayglass and the wider community for their support of Killians coffee morning on Sunday last also the hall committee, all the volunteers, the parking attendants, Bolgers of Ballycogley and those who baked and helped with tea and coffee. The ticket sellers and those that donated prizes. The family really appreciate your unwavering support and kindness during the last six weeks. The total raised was €4,300 and this will be of great benefit to St Gabriel's Ward Temple Street Hospital were Killian received the best of care during his stay.

Sad Passing
Deepest sympathy to the Hogan family Coolishall on the death of Sheila Hogan née Kearns last Wednesday. Sheila is survived by her husband John and daughter Rosie, sisters Annie, Kathy, Bridie and Eileen and brother Pat, grandchildren Tommy and Amanda, relatives and friends. Sheila reposed in Ryan's funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m., funeral Mass was on Saturday in Carrig-on-Bannow church at 11 a.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Phil Murphy Weekend
The 33rd Phil Murphy weekend takes place from July 24 till July 27. Opening night will be held in the Red Door by Kieran Hanrahan, followed by music in the Marquee with the Kilkenny and Danescastle music group. Friday night concert at 8 p.m. in the marquee stars Four Men and a Dog and Patrick Fitzpatrick and Pat Bass plus guests. Saturday a tune workshop in the marquee at 11 a.m. Afternoon tunes in the pub from 3 p.m. In the church concert at 7.30 p.m. with Seán Keane and his band. At 9.30 concert in the marquee with Cherish the ladies, Manus McGuire and Benny McCarthy, Eileen McClusky and John Nugent. On Sunday the O'Riads Mass in the church at 11 a.m. The singing gathering will be held in the Tin Sandwich at 12.30 with Séamus Brogan and guests. In the marquee at 12.30 Afternoon Concert with Crying Uncles, Clem O'Brien Band, Bothar Glas, Robin Hurt and Danescastle Music Group. 6 p.m. Mumming Exhibition 7.30 Closing Concert with Martin O'Connor, Cathal Hayden and Séamus O'Dowd, The Corach Ceili Band and the Bar of Lough Band.
Seisiun
The Danescastle music group hold a Seisun every Monday night in the Talbot hotel from the beginning of July starting at 8 p.m. Traditional Irish music, song, dance and storytelling, come along and join in or just enjoy the entertainment.

Caroreigh Field-day
The Caroreigh annual field day starts at 1.30 p.m. this Sunday, July 27, The event will feature all the customary stalls and attractions including bottle, cake, produce, pongo, spin and win, books, children's races, golf, barbecue, tractor rides, horse racing, shop, hurling puck, penalty kick, crossbar challenge, hang tough, daisy the cow, name the doll, fishing, rings, darts, plotto, raffles, tea and much, much more...
The fancy dress parade will be led out by the New Ross and District Pipe Band. We are also anticipating a highly successful dog show with 10 categories. This event promises to be an excellent family outing. Entry to the field is by donation. Test your luck with the annual tickets €2 each or a book of three €5 available from parishioners.
