Stereophonics at Finsbury Park: start time, tickets, potential setlist and what you need to know for London show

'Phonics fans, rejoice! The Welsh rockers are bringing their massive back catalogue of bangers to north London this Friday as part of their 'Stadium Anthems' tour – truly the most exactly-what-it-says-on-the-tin name we've heard for a while. Whether you're popping along as a diehard fan or just someone who really loves 'Have a Nice Day', here's everything you need to know ahead of the Finsbury Park show. When are Stereophonics playing London's Finsbury Park? Stereophonics are performing at Finsbury Park this Friday, July 4 as part of their ongoing 2025 UK tour. This is their only London stop and it promises to be a big one – the band's first major outdoor headline show in the capital since their 2019 performance at Hyde Park. What time do doors open? Doors will open at 3pm, giving you plenty of time to get a drink and nab a good spot. What time will Stereophonics come on stage? Stage times haven't been officially confirmed, but based on previous shows, expect Stereophonics to hit the stage around 8.20pm. Festival map Here's an idea of how Finsbury Park will be laid out for the event. You can expect the usual festival layout, with multiple food and drink stalls, toilet areas, water points and accessible areas for those who need them. Who's supporting Stereophonics? Getting the crowd nice and warm before the main event will be indie favourites Blossoms, as well as Middlesbrough-born singer-songwriter Finn Forster. Again, set times haven't been officially announced - but based on previous gigs, the running order will likely look something like this: Finn Forster – 5.20pm Blossoms – 6.30pm Setlist While setlists can vary, the band have been playing a consistent mix of fan favourites and deeper cuts throughout the tour. Here's what they've been performing recently: Vegas Two Times I Wanna Get Lost With You Do Ya Feel My Love Have a Nice Day There's Always Gonna Be Something Just Looking Pick a Part That's New Superman Geronimo Graffiti on the Train Maybe Tomorrow Handbags and Gladrags All in One Night I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio Make It on Your Own Traffic Mr and Mrs Smith Fly Like an Eagle Mr. Writer Local Boy in the Photograph C'est la vie Encore: The Bartender and the Thief Dakota Can you still get tickets? The show is officially sold out, but it seems like there's a limited number of verified resale tickets still available on Ticketmaster, starting at around £49. Move fast if you're planning a last-minute trip down memory lane. What's Finsbury Park's bag policy? Leave your massive rucksack at home. Only small bags (A4 size: W21cm x H30cm x D8cm) are allowed into the site. There are no cloakroom or storage facilities for larger bags (though there's safe storage for smaller ones), and anything left outside will be disposed of. All bags will be searched on entry, and you're also likely to be subject to pat-downs and metal detector checks. Banned items To speed up security checks and avoid having your stuff binned, here's what not to bring: Alcohol Glass bottles Any drinks (you can bring empty bottles to fill inside) Large umbrellas (you won't need them, I promise) Professional cameras or audio equipment Items that could be considered weapons Unrecognisable medication (unless you have a prescription or doctor's note) You can bring: Snacks for personal consumption Empty plastic bottles or metal water bottles Personal (non-pro camera) photography gear Medication with proof of prescription A cheery disposition Weather Forecast This mini heatwave we're all complaining about looks set to continue, with the Met Office and BBC predicting highs of 27C. Pack your SPF, a cap, and of course your Handbags and Gladrags.
