Multi-vehicle pile up closes A13 in south Essex with severe delays building
A MULTI-VEHICLE crash has closed the A13 eastbound between Orsett and Stanford-le-Hope causing severe delays in south Essex this afternoon.
The pile up was first reported around 2pm this afternoon and has seen emergency services completely close the major road Basildon-bound, with queuing traffic backing up to Grays.
Traffic is reported to be moving extremely slowly following the crash, with an unknown number of vehicles involved in the collision and AA traffic news reporting increasing delays while emergency services work to clear the debris.
