Paris Hilton's parents helped her remain ‘grounded'

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Paris Hilton has always been a 'down-to-earth girl'. The 44-year-old star has credited her parents for instilling a 'strong work ethic' into her, and Paris believes she's been unaffected by her own fame and success. Paris - who starred on the reality series 'The Simple Life' between 2003 and 2007 - told HELLO! magazine: 'I feel as though I've been the same my whole life. My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me from when I was very young and that has always kept me grounded. 'I remember when the very first 'Simple Life' episode aired, my mom took me aside and told me that my life was about to change forever but that I should never stop being the same down-toearth girl I am. I've never forgotten that.' Paris has always been very ambitious, and she doesn't have any intention of slowing down. The reality TV star explained: 'I love making enter - tainment. I love making products. I love being creative and making people happy. That is what I've tried to do my whole career. ' I feel lucky that I've been able to do everything and be successful at it at the same time.' Earlier this year, Paris hailed 'Stars Are Blind' as the 'most iconic pop song ever made'. The blonde beauty released the hit single back in 2006 and Paris still sings the song in the shower. She told Us Weekly: 'I was actually just singing it in the shower this morning because it's the most iconic pop song ever made. My favorite song.' Paris has enjoyed success in various fields, but she's 'always' thinking of new ideas. Paris - who is married to entrepreneur Carter Reum - shared: 'I have ADHD so my brain does not stop moving, and I'm always thinking of ideas. 'I'm such a night owl even if I'm trying to go to bed. So it depends. If I have to wake up at like six in the morning for w o r k t h e next day, I will force myself to go to sleep a t 1 1 or 12.

Paris Hilton does not miss The Simple Life days

Paris Hilton does not miss anything about her days on 'The Simple Life'. The 44-year-old hotel heiress shot to fame alongside Nicole Richie in 2003 on the iconic reality show series, which saw the pair move in with the Leding family in Altus, Arkansas, to learn how middle-class families live. But Paris - who is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels - has since distanced herself from that life. She explained to HELLO! magazine: "I feel as though I've lived that life and done it all. I love my life now. "I love just being at home with my family, with my babies. I'm still working a lot, but my children are my priority. "Just seeing them wake up in the morning is so sweet. And reading stories to them at night and cuddling them is just so magical ... "I remember when the very first 'Simple Life' aired, my mom [Kathy Hilton] took me aside and told me that my life was about to change forever, but that I should never stop being the same down-to-earth girl I am. "I've never forgotten that." Paris and her businessman husband Carter Reum got married in November 2021, and later welcomed Phoenix, two, and London, 12 months, into the world. The ceremony and reception were held in her late grandfather's former home in Bel Air. The 'Infinite Icon' singer feels grateful for Carter lifting her and their bundles of joy "every day". Speaking about her "kindest, sweetest man", she gushed: "He's just the best. He's so incredible. He really lifts me and our two beautiful little angels every day. "I feel so grateful for my family, my fans and my fur babies. They all make me feel so happy." The 'Stars Are Blind' singer loves "making entertainment" and products, but she says her and Carter's children always come first before any projects. Paris said: "I don't like to be put in a box and only be able to do one thing. I've always been like that. "My babies come first, but there are so many things I'm passionate about. I love making entertainment. I love making products. I just love being creative and making people happy. That is what I've tried to do my whole career. "I feel lucky that I've been able to do everything and be successful at it at the same time."

Kanye West's rants can't dim Paris Hilton's shine: new fragrance launches

Paris Hilton recently launched her 30th fragrance called 'Iconic'. Image: Instagram Kanye West (aka Ye) is at it again, this time involving Paris Hilton in his latest tirade. It's worth remembering that Hilton played a significant role in launching Kim Kardashian's career, gifting her early exposure to fame and some designer accessories. Before "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", his ex-wife was Paris Hilton's assistant-slash-bestie, following her around in early-2000s paparazzi shots, and learning the ropes of tabloid royalty. Ye seems to be having regrets, not about his music or his never-ending rants, but about his parenting choices. In a moment on a streaming platform called "Digital Nas' Twitch" earlier this week, Ye decided to air some alternate universe fantasies. 'Kim was Paris Hilton's assistant,' he said. 'I should've had babies with Paris Hilton over Kim Kardashian. Could you imagine if I had kids with Paris Hilton? How many hotels I'd have now? Think about that - the Hilton. I think y'all staying at the Hilton right now. The Edition Hotels is a Hilton.' He also compared Kardashian to the late Virgil Abloh, a backhanded compliment if there ever was one. 'Paris Hilton had the vision, and that's what happened,' Ye added. 'Kim was like the Virgil [Abloh]. Kim was like Paris Hilton's Virgil.' Whew. While Ye's out here rewriting the family tree in his head, Hilton is living her real-life fairytale and couldn't be more unbothered. On Wednesday, she took to Instagram Stories to show off her rooftop hangout with sister Nicky Hilton, celebrating her latest milestone. "So proud of my 30th fragrance, Iconic,' she wrote. Hilton's got 30 perfumes under her designer belt. The woman's perfume empire is practically a shelf-breaker. And in true Hilton style, she stepped behind the DJ booth with a bejewelled hairbrush-mic and lip-synced to her surprisingly well-loved 2006 bop, "Stars Are Blind". A hit that critics once raised eyebrows at, but has since aged into a Y2K pop cult classic. As for Ye, well, we've seen this pattern before. He's got four children with Kardashian, and yet somehow can't stop dragging her into his latest rants. At this point, we're just waiting to see who makes it into his next stream-of-consciousness saga. One thing's for sure: Hilton's not interested in being part of Ye's "what if" multiverse. She's too busy being iconic. Shame, he missed that memo.

Paris Hilton brushes off Kanye West's bizarre rant that he 'should've had babies' with her NOT Kim Kardashian

Paris Hilton brushed off Kanye West 's rude comments about wanting to have children with her as she hit up a party to celebrate another one of her achievements. The reality TV personality, 44, paid no mind to the remarks from the ex-husband of her longtime best friend Kim Kardashian during his chaotic tirade. Less than a week later, she walked the hot pink carpet at an Ulta Beauty event to celebrate her 30th fragrance release before hitting up a West Hollywood bar for her launch party. On Wednesday, she took to her Instagram Story to share photos and videos of her partying with her sister Nicky Hilton on a rooftop bar with the Los Angeles skyline behind her. At one point, she stepped behind the DJ booth with her friends and even held a bedazzled hairbrush, miming a microphone, as she sang her 2006 hit song, Stars Are Blind. Over the clips of her having fun, she wrote: 'Icons only b****.' 'So proud of my 30th fragrance Iconic,' she added alongside a teary-eyed emoji and pink hearts. The star, who has released a considerable number of perfumes over 20 years with her Parlux partnership, sparkled as she was covered in dazzling gems from head to toe. For the soirée, she donned a bright pink, sequin dress with a plunging neckline and long sleeves. The dress also featured a thigh-high slit and triangle cutouts on her sides to highlight her slim waist. Paired with the chic garb, she accessorized with a chunky, silver choker and her manicure was also bedazzled to match. She gushed about launching her fragrance, which she called a 'dream come true,' per TMZ, and danced to upbeat music along with fellow partygoers. Her outing came less than a week after West said he wished he had children with her instead of his ex-wife Kardashian. Hilton appeared unbothered as she performed at the Stagecoach country music festival over the weekend and is also celebrating her latest fragrance launch. Less than a week after the rapper's comments, she walked the hot pink carpet at an Ulta Beauty event to celebrate her 30th fragrance release before hitting up a West Hollywood bar for her launch party She gushed about launching her fragrance, which she called a 'dream come true,' per TMZ, and danced to upbeat music along with fellow partygoers At one point, she stepped behind the DJ booth with her friends and even held a bedazzled hairbrush, miming a microphone, as she sang her 2006 hit song, Stars Are Blind During her DJ set, she brought out Lizzo, and she was also spotted having fun with pal Sydney Sweeney and aunt Kyle Richards. Last week, the rapper, who now goes by Ye, made a number of shocking and obscene comments in yet another offensive rant. During a livestream, he said he wished he could go back in time and have Hilton be his baby mama instead of Kim Kardashian, who was previously Hilton's assistant. He and The Kardashians star welcomed four children during their past marriage. They share daughters North and Chicago as well as sons Saint and Psalm. Hilton married businessman Carter Reum in 2021, and they share two children: son Phoenix, two, and 17-month-old daughter London.
