Emergency services attended Abercromby Street in Calton after reports of a fire at around 7pm on Sunday. Officers are now appealing for information and say that enquiries are ongoing. Detective constable Stevie Martin said: 'Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information which could assist, to contact us. 'I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch.' Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 3061 of June 29.

Probe launched as police investigate deliberate fire in Glasgow
Police are investigating a deliberate fire in Glasgow on Friday night. Emergency services were called to the scene at 10pm on Friday, February 7 when a car was set on fire on Dubton Street. The silver Vauxhall Corse was set alight and needed extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no reports of injuries but police are now investigating the incident and calling for any witnesses to come forward. Detectives want to speak to anyone who might have private CCTV or dash-cam footage and are urging them to contact them. Detective Constable Stevie Martin said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
