Renowned Dolly Parton impersonator to perform in Wrexham
Kelly O'Brien will perform The Dolly Show at the Stiwt Theatre in Wrexham on October 4. Ms O'Brien, an Australian-born West End star, has been voted the UK's best Dolly Parton impersonator and was a finalist for a lead role in Parton's Broadway musical. With appearances on BBC One and ITV's This Morning, MsO'Brien is acclaimed for her striking resemblance to the Tennessee-born singer. Known for her vocals and comic timing, she is set to perform hits such as 9 to 5, Jolene, Islands in the Stream, and I Will Always Love You. Tickets can be purchased here:

Wrexham school cluster to host concert for National Eisteddfod
Welsh-medium schools from the Ysgol Morgan Llwyd cluster will perform at the Stiwt Theatre in Rhosllanerchrugog on Wednesday, June 25, at 6.30pm, raising funds for the 2025 Eisteddfod. A spokesman for the cluster said: "Everyone is welcome—Welsh and its cultural events belong to all. "The majority of children in Welsh-medium schools in Wrexham come from non-Welsh-speaking homes, and their families are deeply invested in our commitment to building a bilingual, inclusive community." Pupils from all ten schools in the cluster will take part, performing Welsh songs that reflect their pride in language, heritage, and community.
