After recently launching two budget smartphones in the Storm series — Storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G, Lava is once again set to launch another budget smartphone, this time in its Blaze series. The new device is dubbed the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G, and according to the company, the phone will be priced under Rs 10,000. Of course, the exact pricing is not yet known, but what we do know is a bunch of specifications and features, which have been confirmed by the brand itself ahead of the official launch. Here's everything you need to know about the Lava Blaze Dragon Blaze Dragon 5G: Availability, specs and expected price in IndiaThe Lava Blaze Dragon 5G is set to break cover on July 25 at noon. It will be available in two colour options — Golden Mist and Midnight Mist. As mentioned above, the phone will be priced under Rs 10,000. The phone's teaser page is already live on Amazon, which suggests that the phone will be available for purchase via the e-commerce platform. Also, expect it to be available through Lava's official website, along with other retail channels, which should be revealed at to the specifications, the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ (1612 x 720) LCD display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of over 450 nits, which should be decent enough for indoor and outdoor use. Under the hood, the Blaze Dragon 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset built on a 4nm process. This is an octa-core processor, with two high-performance cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2GHz. It's paired with an Adreno 613 GPU for graphics. The Blaze Dragon 5G packs 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. There's also support for microSD cards in case you need more phone runs on the stock version of Android 15, out of the box, which is a nice addition in the budget segment. On the back, it houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with an LED flash. There's no word yet on the front camera, but more details should be available at the key features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and dual SIM support. In terms of connectivity, the Blaze Dragon 5G offers 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS with GLONASS, and a USB Type-C keep things running, the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The right-hand side of the phone houses the power button and volume rockers. Meanwhile, the Storm Lite is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz LCD display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor — the successor to last year's Dimensity 6300, which featured in several budget smartphones. Notably, this marks the first time the new Dimensity 6400 chip will debut in India. The teaser for the Storm Lite showcases a golden-white finish with a squircle-shaped camera module. It includes two circular lenses with golden rings and a flash positioned beside them.
