Two EF-0 tornadoes confirmed in Wisconsin following Wednesday storms
(WFRV) – Severe weather moved through Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon, and while Local 5's viewing area was largely spared from the worst of the storms, two tornadoes have been confirmed in the southern part of the state. Hillcrest Road, about three miles southwest of Hustisford in Dodge County. Rain showers and cooler temperatures tomorrow
The Latest from Storm Team 5… Good news, as of 3 p.m., the Air Quality alert for NE WI has expired as air quality levels are improving! However, we have a band of rain developing in central WI and that will be the focal point of our weather. For tonight, expect cloudy skies with rain showers favoring areas north of Green Bay. Can not rule out a few showers to pass through the Fox Valley at times. Lows tonight in the upper 40s and low 50s. Rain showers along a stationary boundary should remain north of HWY 29 through much of the morning into the afternoon, but a passing shower south can not be ruled out. You will notice even cooler temperatures then today, only topping out in the middle to upper 50s up north, with lower to middle 60s south. Most wont see much rain, but areas far north could see up around 1″ or more of rain. Saturday, a weak wave of rain will move in for the morning, but we should be dry for the Flag Day Parade in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s to around 70. Keeping us dry for the Dads on Sunday under mostly cloudy skies. Have to watch Monday through Wednesday, lots of model uncertainty with arrival of rain and storms…stay tuned. Early evening t-storm chance today, drier and warmer tomorrow
The Latest from Storm Team 5… An upper level low has slowly been moving across the state today, sparking scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms. For this evening, a few more scattered showers and storms are possible, one or two of which could produce small hail and a brief downpour, but we should be rain free around bed time tonight. Lows tonight will fall into the the upper 40s and low 50s. Tomorrow will start with clouds with a very small chance of passing shower, but the afternoon will feature more sunshine. Highs will return to the lower and middle 70s. Mostly sunny skies on Wednesday, with highs in the low to middle 80s. Thankfully, humidity should stay in check with dew points only reaching the low to mid 50s. Beyond this point, a fairly unsettled weather pattern will move in. A stationary boundary will set up to our south, bringing waves of rain showers and below average temperatures. First rain chance looks to be Wednesday night into Thursday, favoring areas south of Green Bay. Friday looks to be the day where all of us have a good chance to see rain. Early call is Flag Day and Fathers Day will both be dry. For all your latest updates on the weather, follow Ryan on Facebook, X and Instagram. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. More rain and a few storms tomorrow
The Latest from Storm Team 5… After a quiet start to the weekend, multiple waves of rain and storms moved the area on Sunday, bringing about a quarter to three quarters of an inch of rain and some hail up to 1″ in diameter. Thankfully, tonight, the rain is done for and I am expecting a quiet night with clouds arriving late. Lows in the low to mid 50s. The upper level part of the system will move in tomorrow, bringing scattered rain and a few thunderstorms once again for the morning, lasting through at least the afternoon, before activity begins to taper later in the evening. Plenty of dry hours are expected tomorrow. Additional rain amounts between 0.10″ to 0.25″, isolated higher. Highs tomorrow will be very cool compared to average, in the upper 50s and low to middle 60s! Nicer looking day expected on Tuesday with a mix of sun & clouds with highs back in the 70s. Warmer weather returns Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, high temperature will reach the low to mid 80s. Then, a few days of rain chances move in to the end the week. No severe weather, but two rounds of rain & t-storms expected today
The Latest from Storm Team 5… Good morning! We are starting off this Sunday fairly quiet with a mix of sun and clouds, but a cold front is moving into NW WI with a line of rain and storms attached to it. No severe weather is in the forecast today, but I am expecting the rain and storms to arrive in two rounds today. A widespread round one will move in around 8-9 a.m. out west, exiting the lakeshore about 3-4 p.m. At the same time, a few isolated rain and storms will likely flare up in central WI and move in throughout the late PM and early evening. No severe weather is expected, but a few stronger storms producing brief downpours and gusty winds are possible. Highs today will be a bit cooler then yesterday, in the upper 60s and lower to middle 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Just keep those eyes on the sky if you are headed to Walleye Weekend Day 3. Tonight, increasing clouds with a stray shower late, lows in the low to middle 50s. More showers and a few isolated rumbles of thunder are possible on Monday, especially in the morning. Highs will only manage the lower to middle 60s. Two day rain totals will range from 0.25-0.75″, isolated higher. Much nicer weather arrives Tuesday into Wednesday, with highs in the 70s and eventually pushing 80 mid week. For all your latest updates on the weather, follow Ryan on Facebook, X and Instagram.
