Display Upgrade
Apple will reportedly swap the A18 chip in the iPhone 16 for a more powerful A19 chip in the iPhone 17, for better AI performance and energy efficiency.

A notable upgrade which is highly anticipated is the 24MP front-facing camera on the iPhone 17, doubling the 12MP resolution found on the iPhone 16.

The iPhone 17 may support 35W wired fast charging, a small but useful bump over the 30W speed on the iPhone 16.
Faster Charging
The addition of Apple is rumored to use its in-house Wi-Fi chip on the iPhone 17 which could mean improved wireless performance and better ecosystem integration.
Connectivity
The rear design is likely to remain largely unchanged, retaining dual-lens cameras with a similar layout. However Apple is rumoured to replace the Plus model for iPhone Air which will have a super slim design.
Design Similarity
If we go by Apple's typical cycle, the iPhone 17 is expected to launch in September 2025.
