Netflix drop teaser for final season of Stranger Things
Netflix have released the teaser for the final season of Stranger Things, which will drop later this year. The supernatural drama, which debuted nearly a decade ago, will release its fifth season later this year; with it set to be split into three parts beginning in November. Now, Netflix have (finally) given a teaser to what will happen to Eleven and Co as they go to the Upside Down one last time, and try to defeat Vecna once and for all. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE PREVIOUS FOUR SEASONS OF STRANGER THINGS BELOW! In the trailer, the primary protagonists are in various locations, with the common denominator being the town's fictional radio station WSQK; with the increase in decibels potentially being a nod to how to bring people out of the upside down. The teaser also gives a brutal reminder of Eddie Munson's death in the season four finale, with his friends visiting his now defaced grave, with 'burn in hell' being written in 'red viscous fluid.' Netflix have released the teaser for the final season of Stranger Things, which will drop later this year. Pic: Netflix Things aren't looking good for Max either, as she remains in a coma from season four after an encounter with Vecna, with Lucas remaining at her hospital bed. 'The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown,' the teaser's description reads. 'Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread.' Max is still in a coma, while Eddie Munson is dead as the rest of the Hawkins 'kids' try to defeat Vecna once and for all. Pic: Netflix 'The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they've faced before. To end this nightmare, they'll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.' The first part of Stranger Things Season Five will be released on Netflix on November 26, before part two drops on December 25. Then, the two-hour series finale will drop on December 31.

Stranger Things 5: Mysterious audio clip from show sparks theories ahead of teaser launch at Netflix's TUDUM event
A cryptic audio-visual clip linked to Stranger Things Season Five has gone viral just ahead of the official teaser's release at Netflix's TUDUM event, stirring speculation and theories among fans. The 30-second clip was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on May 30, with the caption: 'THIS IS A CODE RED #TUDUM #StrangerThings5.' It features a grainy audio track layered with disturbing noises including loud bangs, radio static, and garbled voices. A notification in the video attempts to transcribe the audio but ultimately reads: 'Can't transcribe message.' Listen to the audio here: The ambiguous nature of the clip has left fans puzzled, with many questioning whether it is an intentional teaser from the show's creators. Some believe it could hint at major plot points from the upcoming season. "I don't know, I'm so confused what it could be," one fan posted. Another wrote, "Maybe it could be at the military base, the monsters are breaking thru the plates that are sealing the rift." A third fan speculated it might relate to one of the show's earliest plotlines, suggesting, 'So, we're probably getting a season 1 recap, but from Will's POV?' The viral moment comes as anticipation builds for the fifth and final season of the hit sci-fi series. Netflix has yet to comment on whether the clip is an official preview or a fan-made creation, but the timing has fuelled rumours that the teaser might drop more than just a few nostalgic callbacks. As fans wait for official confirmation, one thing is clear: the Upside Down is already stirring.
