20 celebrity cameos fans have spotted in Death Stranding 2

While Norman Reedus, Elle Fanning, and Léa Seydoux headline the main story, Hideo Kojima's world is also packed with subtle (and sometimes bizarre) celebrity cameos. Most appear as preppers —isolated NPCs living off the grid whom you encounter during deliveries. Here are 20 cameos that eagle-eyed fans have already spotted. 1. Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) Known for Train to Busan , Ma plays Samson Hook, a prepper at the F2 South Distribution Center. Expect muscle and heart in equal measure. 2. Kate Siegel The Haunting of Hill House actress appears as Olivia Westbury at West Fort Knot. Horror royalty in a hazmat suit? Yes, please. 3. Dave Bautista's Dogbone Entertainment is chasing a Cat Assassin. The Guardians of the Galaxy and Dune actor's company has partnered with Canada's Titan1Studios to develop Steve Lerner's Cat Assassin into a franchise spanning animated series, video games and publishing initiatives. Annapurna Interactive published both. Bautista will have creative input into the franchise through Dogbone. Cat Assassin is set in a gritty neo-noir world inhabited by anthropomorphized cats and centers on Hugh, a highly skilled assassin caught between various cartels and power brokers in a dark and twisted city. Producers say it 'promises a unique blend of humor, action, and stealth.' Titan1Studios is already 'well underway' with a stealth action video game inspired by the immersive gameplay of Assassin's Creed, the tactical espionage of Splinter Cell, the immersive feline agility of Stray and the fluid combat of Sifu. The tone of the game will 'set the tone for the expansive universe that will soon follow.' Further details on the animated series, feature film, publishing partners and more video game titles will follow 'in coming months.' Dogbone, established in 2022, was set up as a full-service TV and film producer. It recently wrapped on Prime Video's Eternal City and Lionsgate's The Killer's Game and is working on upcoming Amazon feature Wrecking Crew. Titan1Studios has bases in Calgary and Toronto has a slate including an animated adaptation of the Zomben comic series, produced with The Last Airbender studio Rideback Entertainment, and investigative drama series Sandcastle with Lionsgate Canada. Franklin County officials prepare with Kentucky River predicted to rise to near-record levels

(FOX 56) — Since Wednesday, April 2, Frankfort leaders said that the Franklin County area has received over six inches of rain, with that number expected to increase to nearly a foot by Monday. In a news release on Saturday, Frankfort Mayor Layne Wilkerson announced that the Kentucky River is projected to rise to 45 feet by the time it crests on Monday, April 7, according to the National Weather Service. That high of a crest would put it at the fourth-largest flooding event in the county's history, approximately 0.2 feet below the flood of 1997, Mayor Wilkerson's office said. Kentucky officials fear deadly floods will linger as over 300 roads close Elkhorn Creek is also reportedly at a major flood stage after rising above 14 feet, city officials said. Stillhouse Hollow, Schoolhouse Road, North Scruggs Lane including Elkhorn Campground, Switzer, Indian Gap Road, and Jones Lane are all affected by creek flooding. In response to the flooding, the Frankfort floodwall was reportedly activated on Saturday, protecting the southern and downtown areas of the city. Mayor Wilkerson and Franklin County Judge Executive Michael Mueller reportedly issued a joint emergency declaration on Saturday, granting more resources to help anyone impacted by the flood. The mayor and the judge executive met with city and county staff Saturday afternoon to prepare emergency action plans for the flooding event, per a news release. 'City and county emergency response crews and the Office of Emergency Management have been working diligently to keep our community safe and plan for the days ahead,' Judge Executive Michael Mueller said. 'We ask that the public stay home if possible, and use caution in any flooded areas. We thank our first responders for all their hard work, and we continue to make the safety of our residents our top priority.' If you have an emergency, dial 911, but if you need non-emergency weather-related help, officials asked that you call (501) 352-2252. Officials also asked residents to follow Ready Frankfort, Frankfort, KY City Government, and Franklin County Fiscal Court on social media and to download the Ready Frankfort App for alerts. 'Remember to observe safety precautions during this weather event,' Mayor Wilkerson's office wrote. 'Utilize caution when you travel, and avoid flooded areas, especially for observation purposes. I'm writing about this cute cat plush so you play one of 2025's best games
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is one of my favorite games of the year, so you'll forgive me if I spend the next 300 words or so writing about a limited-edition plush the game's creator, Gareth Damian Martin, is producing with the help of crowdfunding platform Makeship. Starting today, you can pledge $30 to support Martin's campaign, and if enough other people do as well, everyone will get a cute cat plush sometime later this year. The toy was designed by French illustrator Guillaume Singelin, who also did the character designs for the game. Right now, the campaign is sitting at 45 percent funded with 90 toys sold, and the better part of 22 days to go. And I mean look at the plush, isn't it one of the cutest things you've seen? For the uninitiated, the Stray, not to be confused with another cyberpunk cat, is one of the characters Citizen Sleeper 2's protagonist can encounter during their journey. As far as I'm aware, they only appear in one scene throughout the entire runtime of the game (how very cat-like of them, I know), but it's a moment that's emblematic of so many of Citizen Sleeper 2's strengths. "This cat, the one on your ship, was born here. That much is obvious," writes Martin in the scene. "It is a creature of zero-gravity, a being that orbits and glides, not one that leaps and stalks." Without spoiling anything, what follows is a touching and thoughtful meditation on memory, and how we can choose whether our memories define us. If you haven't played Citizen Sleeper 2 yet, consider this a recommendation. It is easily worth your time and more. You can play the game on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. As for the Stray, they're expected to start shipping on June 12, 2025.
