Silentnight's £20 summer double duvet is 'perfect for warmer nights'

Many of us will have been struggling to sleep in the hot weather recently. Brits have been enjoying a prolonged period of sizzling heat, but with warm days comes warm nights, which can wreak havoc with our chance at a good kip.

Alternatively, if you want to shop around a bit before committing, the Fogarty Duck Feather and Down 4.5 Tog Summer Duvet from Dunelm starts at £32, while Marks and Spencer's Comfortably Cool 3 Tog Duvet starts at £30.
Praising the Summer Double Duvet, one shopper said: "Very favourable price. The duvet is perfect, it is soft to touch and light.
"The delivery took just a matter of days and arrived in good condition. Very happy indeed."
Another raved: "This duvet is perfect for the warmer nights, enough to keep you warm but cool enough I don't have to throw it off me. Nice and light but still has the cosy feel."
However, some opinions about the thickness of the product were mixed, with some finding it too thin, while others thought it was too warm.
One sleeper commented: "The duvet is well made, comfortable and good value for money. However, whilst it is lightweight and thinner than our previous duvet, I've found it to be really hot."
A second chimed in: "Don't expect something thick and puffy. Quite thin. Other than that, no faults."
But others dubbed it "perfect". One person wrote: "I could not decide between a 7.5 or a 4.5 tog thinking the 4.5 might be too light, but it is perfect.
"It gives enough warmth to stave off the chill on a summers morning, but is not so hot that it makes us too hot during the night. I am more than pleased with the quality and have no hesitation in recommending it."
