Will Smiths son Jaden turns 27, dad marks special day with throwback pics
Los Angeles [US], July 9 (ANI): Actor Will Smith's son Jaden Smith turned 27 on July 8, and to mark his special day, the proud father shared an adorable post giving fans a glimpse of throwback pictures. Taking to his Instagram account, Smith posted old photos and videos of Jaden. The first picture in the post showed Will holding a young Jaden in his arms and laughing, while also holding a microphone. It was followed by a short video of Jaden doing a backflip as a kid. The clip was edited with a scene from Jaden's 2010 film 'The Karate Kid,' where he performs a split. Will also included a recent photo from Capital's Summertime Ball 2025, where Jaden made a surprise appearance on stage. The show took place on Father's Day. At the time, Will had posted a video of the moment, writing, "Happy Father's Day to all the dads and dad figures out there!" Along with the birthday post, Will wrote, "Happy Bday, J-Diggy. Your tricks are getting better every year!" Will Smith, 56, shares Jaden and daughter Willow, 24, with his estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He also has a son, Trey, 32, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino. According to PEOPLE, in October 2024, during a panel at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, Will spoke about how his relationship with his kids has grown stronger as he works on himself. "As a parent, because I'm continuing to push, because I'm continuing to work on myself and I'm continuing to try to get my head around this grand mystery... Because I'm continuing to work, my children are gravitating toward me more," he said. "I'm noticing the struggles that I have, the difficulties that I overcome, the things that I learned," continued Will. "Because I am not stopping, my children are not moving away from me. Rita Ora slammed for 'blatant lie' in TikTok video as they call out huge blunder
Rita Ora released her latest single Heat earlier this month and a video about the new song on TikTok this week has attracted teasing comments from fans on the platform Fans have poked fun at Rita Ora after she shared footage of herself that was taken on a plane this week. Viewers have questioned a situation that she suggested had happened whilst on board the flight in the recent video message. The update from Rita, 34, comes after she released her latest song Heat earlier this month. She's been promoting the new single, which includes Troye Sivan among its songwriters, at recent performances, like during her set at Capital 's Summertime Ball 2025 last weekend. The singer-songwriter has also been posting about Heat on social media lately. It's included on TikTok, where she has more than 3 million followers. One of her posts about the song on the platform this week showed Rita sat on a plane. She teased that she had heard her new single being played by someone sat next to her on the flight. The video showed her reacting, with her writing over it: "Me: Hearing heat playing out of the person next to me's headphones." Rita's seen wearing a face mask at the start of the video, before removing it. Sporting headphones herself, she then lip syncs to Rihanna singing: "Uh oh! Boner alert!" The lyric is from the Lonely Island song Shy Ronnie 2: Ronnie & Clyde. The MTV Video Music Award winner wrote in the caption of the video that was uploaded to the platform just days ago: "He's definitely got good taste." She concluded the caption of her post with an emoji depicting a tongue. Fans didn't seem convinced that the situation had actually happened though. One person reacted: "Out of all the things that have never happened, this has never happened the most." Another said: "Girl that 100% did not happen." A third viewer teased: "You have a lovely imagination." Someone else said in their response to Rita's video: "Hey, let's be nice. Her headphones likely disconnected and she didn't understand the song was playing from her phone." Others pointed out that she was wearing headphones herself. One commented: "You heard it with your headphones on??" Another said: "She must have great hearing to be able to hear music from someone else's headphones while wearing headphones herself." Someone else suggested that her husband Taika Waititi may have been beside her on the flight. They teased: "It's your husband next to you." Several fans shared their amusement over the comments on the post. One wrote beside laughing emojis: "These comments are killing me." Rita's post has amassed more than 60,000 likes on the platform. It was followed-up by two other videos of her sat on board the flight, including one where she expressed gratitude to her supporters and teased it's "just the beginning". She wrote over footage of herself looking teary-eyed: "Flights make me emotional and grateful." In the caption, Rita added: "So grateful for all I have thank you to all the lovely people in my life and the ones who have supported me from the start - it's just the beginning." Then, in a third video taken on the flight, she shared "advice" for fans. The video showed her putting her middle finger up to the camera as she smiled. Over the clip, she wrote: "POV: nobody. Me: the F's I give." She added in the caption: "Bit of advice for anyone who doesn't match your energy or bring good vibes - protect your ORA."
