Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley makes shock police brutality claims after 'second mental health hold'
Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley has claimed she was placed under an involuntary mental health hold 'again' by police - who she alleges abused her in custody. Last month Kelley - who shares three children with her actor ex - alarmed fans when she shared a video of herself seemingly getting arrested in Utah - before it emerged she had been taken to hospital by police. Kelley took to Instagram on Saturday to level curious claims against the Summit County Police Department - alleging she had been 'thrown down the stairs' by cops while on a seven day 'involuntary hold' - after being 'taken' from Sundance. However, Summit County Police Department confirmed to they were not involved in any response to Sundance Resort on July 6 - as Sundance is not located in Summit County. Sharing a photo of her bruised arm, Kelley alleged: 'I was held for 7 days and they tried to keep me for 90. I will not be quiet anymore. I cannot be quiet anymore. She claimed of her injuries: 'This is from the police. I will get myself safe but I'm asking for help. Thrown down stairs. Broke my wrist, Contusions on my head. I'm bruised everywhere and I literally was released last night. This is the SECOND time. Kelley took to Instagram on Saturday to level curious claims against the Summit County Police Department - alleging she had been 'thrown down the stairs' by cops while on a seven day 'involuntary hold' - after being 'taken' from Sundance 'Summit county police took me from Sundance on July 6. I was in a hot tub. Placed me on an involuntary hold at Summit county Behavioral health. The truth must be told.' A further post saw Kelley say: 'I love my kids. I'm not crazy. I need help. And I want my kids back. That's all for now.' She is mom to Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. A Summit County Police Department spokesman said in a statement they are 'aware of several photographs and social media posts circulating that inaccurately claim 'Summit County Police' responded to an incident at Sundance (Resort) on July 6, including allegations of a confrontation involving Summit County law enforcement. 'Sundance Resort is not located within Summit County, and therefore, no law enforcement agency from Summit County, including the Summit County Sheriff's Office , would be involved in incidents occurring there. 'I can confirm that the Summit County Sheriff's Office was not involved in any response to Sundance on July 6.' has contacted representatives for Utah County Sheriff's Office, Summit County Behavioral Health, Sundance Mountain Resort and Scott Wolf for comment but has yet to hear back. On June 25, Scott filed court documents in Utah asking for a restraining order against his estranged wife. The Boston-born actor's brother Michael Wolf also entered a declaration in the matter, US Weekly reported after reviewing court docs. 'It's so sad for the kids, but Kelley is ready to fight like hell for her children,' an insider close to Kelley, a mental health professional, told the outlet. The source added: 'It is not warranted, it's cruel. And it's incorrect.' On June 9, Wolf submitted to the court documents indicating his desire to divorce Kelley, who he exchanged vows with in May of 2004. Wolf said in a statement at the time: 'After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley. 'Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.' Kelley issued a statement saying that she was the one to submit the first paperwork indicating she and the actor were parting ways after 21 years. 'I initiated a separation almost a year ago,' Kelley said, adding, 'I've been trying to file for divorce for months, but delays with legal counsel slowed the process. 'Yes, the official petition came from the other party, but let the record show: I've been grieving this marriage for years.' Before Scott had his restraining order in place and had temporary custody of their three kids, Kelley was detained by police after strange comments she made to her father and others. On June 13, Kelley shared footage of police arriving to take her to the hospital while she was on an Instagram Live stream. 'Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help,' read a statement from law enforcement obtained by People. 'Upon speaking with the female, our Deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our Deputies,' the statement continued. 'For that reason, our Deputies transported the female to a local hospital.' Kelley later confirmed she was placed under an 'involuntary 5150,' which is 'a critical intervention used to detain individuals who are considered a danger to themselves or others or are gravely disabled due to a mental disorder,' per the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Summit County Board of Elections office moves to East Tallmadge Avenue location
Those wishing to vote early or have other business with the Summit County Board of Elections will need to go to the elections board's new location at 1050 Tallmadge Ave. The board of elections office officially opened at its new location on June 30 from its longtime spot on Grant Street. Pete Zeigler, the deputy director of the board of elections, said that Summit County is leasing the space, which is adjacent to the Ohio Means Jobs offices, from the Summit County Land Bank. "We're in the same big building," Zeigler said of the close proximity the elections board office shares with OMJ. "We now have signage up as well so people can find us." The Grant Street location is now closed. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening at 2 p.m. July 15. Tours will follow the ceremony. Those wishing to attend should RSVP at The new space will provide more room for not only the staff but for Summit County residents, particularly early voters, Zeigler said. "The county realized that we were limited if we had stayed there," he said of the Grant Street location. "It was undersized in both our storage needs and in areas for staff to work, and our early voting center. In 2016, we started early voting, and it has skyrocketed since. There was no means to expand the building and parking." Regular hours at the board are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Blue Envelope Program supports neurodivergent Coloradans in Summit County during law enforcement encounters
Law enforcement agencies across Colorado are changing how officers, deputies and troopers approach traffic stops. They are aiming for safer and more understanding interactions. The key to this new approach is a simple blue envelope. CBS The Blue Envelope program is designed to mitigate risk during traffic stops or law enforcement interactions for neurodivergent individuals, or those who simply have an atypical communication style, or those with severe anxiety surrounding law enforcement. In a situation with an officer or deputy, the blue envelope can be given to them containing things like a license, registration and explanation of why the conversation might be different than other interactions with the general public. It's something the Mcintosh family sought out after hearing about Summit County Sheriff's Office implementing the program in its mountain community. They believe their 9-year-old son, Caulder, might find use for the envelope, as someone with Fragile X syndrome, autism, ADHD and anxiety. "I think the intention behind it is to grow is to do a better job," Pete Mcintosh said. "So any advancement towards, you know, whoever it is wanting to understand their role in the community and how they can serve their community better, that's a good thing." CBS Caulder's parents said he is a sweet, loving child, but like any kid, can get overstimulated and unregulated. The difference is Caulder might have a harder time calming down when he loses his cool. "He's so little and cute right now," Ann Mcintosh said. "Even if he becomes really, really like sporadic in his behaviors right now, he's still so small that it's okay. But when he is an adult, it won't necessarily be okay." They live with the fear of misunderstandings during interactions with law enforcement in the future. That's exactly the kind of thing the program is designed for. Summit County Sheriff Jaime FitzSimons said he understands traffic stops can be scary for the public, just like they are for his deputies. Understanding how to better communicate with everyone regardless of their needs can help everyone walk away from the interaction safe and sound. CBS "We train them (deputies) to, identify disabilities other than being intoxicated," FitzSimons said. "Things other than mental health. It's those disabilities where this with the envelope and the bumper sticker, would come in handy because they would immediately, not only are they aware of the program, but they've also been trained in crisis intervention and realize, okay, now I'm dealing with someone with a disability." The Blue Envelope program, along with accompanying bumper stickers, (both of which can be found at the Summit County Sheriff's Office free of charge) aims to bridge this gap in understanding and foster safer policing. For parents like the Mcintoshes, the program offers a glimmer of hope. Pete admits it's something he's worried about a time or two before. "It's hard not to constantly, you know, pre-load that anxiety and that terror into, you know, into everyday life."
