'I tried Stacy Solomon's hair oil and it quenched my dry strands in the heat'

This curly hair oil loved by Stacey Solomon is the perfect product to tame summer frizz. If you're struggling with dry hair and split ends, the X-Factor alumni has cooked up the perfect oil to keep your tresses slick in the summer Bleach, pollution, hot air and 30C sun is not a good combination for any head of hair. Mine always suffers by this point in the year and often looks like it needs a good drink. Running my hands through my hair by mid July starts to feel more like a knotty haystack than anything else. This is where Stacey Solomon -owned REHAB's Dose 1.2 Curly Hair Oil comes in to save my frizzy locks. Although I do not have naturally curly hair, the oils in these capsules are there to hydrate and combat frizz - which is everything I need when my hair starts to dry out in the heat. The eight oils include avocado oil, sunflower oil and castor oil. Instead of my hair almost standing on end with dryness, leading to more split ends, it now sits more sleekly on my shoulders and has a gloss to it. Miraculously, each capsule is also biodegradable and you can drop it into your sink and watch it dissolve before your eyes. For £26 this is on the pricier end but it feels worth it for the ingredients and beautiful packaging. The individual capsules are opened with a quick twist and snap meaning they're perfect to throw in your wash bag for a beach holiday. There is a lot of product in each capsule- which would work well for thicker or longer hair. I have been drenching my hair in it and letting it sit and it does seem to soak it all up eventually despite it sometimes looking a bit greasy at first. Alternatively you could just use half a capsule and rub the rest on your arms and chest as a nice moisturiser. As a bonus this oil smells like a beachy cocktail, its feels luxurious and smells like its full of high quality ingredients. Another rave review for the product came in from hair-care fan Ariana Tidwell. She said of her hair oil: 'What an amazing hair oil, I love trying new brands and was delighted with the results. My hair feels like it's been reborn.' In the summer hair needs as much protection from the sun as your skin does, for this reason, REHAB has just launched a new travel-friendly hair oil that promises to do just that, while also "stopping frizz", according to customers. REHAB, has just unveiled its new Sunshine Spritz UV Protection Hair Oil. It's currently available with a 20% discount, bringing it down from its usual price of £26 to £20.80. This oil features a mix of strand-smoothing oils and octocrylene to shield against UV rays. Plus, it comes in REHAB's signature single-use capsules, making it perfect for travelling as you can take as few or as many as you need. Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. 'I swear by this soothing hair mask to restore my locks after a day in the sun'

Mirror's shopping writer Grace deals with dry and brittle hair, especially after sun exposure, but swears by this nourishing mask to revive her locks In sunny weather, we usually think about how the sun will effect our face and skin, and take the neccesary precautions to prevent any damage or burns. But we can often forget the effect the sun will have on our hair. Exposure to UV rays can often lead to dry and brittle locks. Of course, there are products we can use to prevent this, such as Goldwell's Dualsenses Sun Reflects UV Protect Spray, currently £12.75, and REHAB.'s Sunshine Spritz UV Protection Hair Oil, currently £20.80 here. However, if like me, this is something you usually forget about, then it's worth investing in a hair mask that works for your hair type to try and reverse some of the damage, and I think I've found just the one. Maria Nila's Head & Hair Heal Masque, now £23.80 at Sephora, is my current go-to hair saviour, and after the heatwave week we've just had, it's been a true lifesaver. This nourishing mask has not been specifically designed to restore hair from sun damage, instead a growth stimulating and dandruff preventing hair mask. However, it's the only hair mask I've found to work for my frizzy, dry and wavy hair after a day laying out in the sun. Previous masks I've tried have been too heavy, either weighing my hair down or leaving a greasy residue. That's not the case with this Maria Nila one, which nourishes and softens my brittle strands, restoring them back to their (almost) full health. Packed full of soothing ingredients like Piroctone Olamine and natural Aloe Vera extract, this mask helps to treat dandruff and scalp problems, while also stimulating hair growth and preventing hair loss. So it's really a win-win for my hair. So far I have not noticed any new hair growth, instead I can see an improvement in my scalp health and smoother strands. However, I've only been using it for the past month so there's a chance if I continue with it, I will see more growth. To use, simply apply to freshly washed, wet hair for three to five minutes, wash off and then condition as usual. The result? Hydrated, silky smooth and soft locks. For the best results, I'd suggest using the Head & Hair Shampoo and Conditioner from the same Maria Nila range.

Stacey Solomon's hair brand launches ‘incredible' new anti-frizz hair oil

Hair brand REHAB, of which Stacey Solomon is a long-time fan and business partner, has just launched a new collection for protecting your hair in summer – and it's already a hit with shoppers It's not just your skin that needs protecting from the sun in summer; your hair does too – and REHAB has launched a new travel-friendly hair oil that does exactly that, while also "stopping frizz", say shoppers. REHAB – which counts Stacey Solomon as not only a fan but a business partner too – has just launched its new Sunshine Spritz UV Protection Hair Oil, debuting with a 20% discount, taking it down from its usual price of £26 to £20.80. This oil features a blend of strand-smoothing oils but octocrylene to protect against UV rays, plus it comes in REHAB's trademark single-use capsules, which are perfect for travelling, enabling you to take as few or as many as you need. Sunshine Spritz Hair Oil may have only just launched but it has already racked up a high number of positive reviews from happy shoppers, with almost all of them five star ones. "As with every single other Rehab product I have purchased, this new oil is gorgeous," one loyal fan wrote. "Am currently using it now in 95 degree heat. Protecting my hair and stopping the frizz. I love it." "This was so amazing! My hair felt so soft and the smell of the oil is wonderful. I think its my favourite," another agreed. A third customer wrote how they though it was "probably the best frizzy relaxer [they've] used so far" and that it "smells great", although did explain how "the first time I used this I used it all over, but now I don't put it in my roots. It can make your hair look greasy." This is good advice to follow when using any hair oil, as most don't need to be applied over the whole length of the hair. As part of REHAB's new Sunshine Spritz range, there's also a product to protect another delicate part of your body from the sun: your lips. SPF Lip Oil, usually £16 but currently £12.80, has a glossy finish and contains SPF 15 to add shine while it shields. Shoppers can also save even more when they buy the two products together in the UV Hair Oil & SPF Lip Oil Bundle for £31.50 instead of the usual £42. If you prefer sun protection for your hair in a spray instead, Pantene has just launched its Pro-V Sunkiss Glow Hair Spray, £12, which contains ingredients to defend against UV, salt and chlorine – all things that can damage your hair – or your hair's colour – when on holiday. Similarly, Kérastase sells its Soleil Huile Sirene Treatment, currently on sale for £26.15, which is specially formulated for sun-exposed locks.
