YS Jagan's image continues to remain intact among public, says YSRCP regional coordinator
YSR Congress Party's regional coordinator Kurasala Kannababu on Saturday said that former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's image in the public remained intact and it was evident with the huge response from the public during his recent tours to Kurnool, Prakasam and Guntur districts. He said that the TDP government which was unable to digest his popularity had been ignoring his security with an aim to curtail his tours in the State. He held a party review meeting in Parvatipuram and interacted YSRCP-Vizianagaram-Parvatipuram districts president Majji Srinivasa Rao and Araku Parliament member Gumma Thanuja Rani and other leaders. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the party which got 40% vote share in 2024 General Elections would come back to power in 2020 with a thumping majority. He asked party leaders and activists to take up party programmes such as 'Babu Surity-Mosam Guarantee' and explain to the people about the failure of the government in implementation of Super-Six assurances given prior to 2024 General Elections. Rani hoped that the party would continue to have its strong presence in Agency areas as tribal people were happy with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's rule between 2019 and 2024. Former deputy chief minister Peedika Rajannadora, Parvatipuram former MLA Alajangi Jogarao and others were present.

Jagan being protected as per Z+ protocol: Anitha
Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha asserted that there was no need to fuss over the security concerns of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, as he is receiving adequate protection in accordance to the Z+ category norms. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of Vision-2047 deliberations held on Thursday, she accused the YSRCP's social media wing of misleading the public with frequent posts alleging security lapses during Mr. Jagan's tours in Kurnool, Prakasam and Guntur districts. She said: 'Mr. Jagan himself does not know what type of security he requires. It is unfair to claim that security arrangements are not being done as per Z+security norms. The issue is left to their wisdom.' She further added that Mr. Jagan consoled the family members of Singayya at his residence in an attempt to corner the government. It appears to be a novel form of 'Work from Home.' Earlier, Ms. Anitha alongside Minister for MSME, Kondapalli Srinivas said that Vizianagaram would witness rapid progress, as the government is prioritising the district's development in accordance to the Vision-2047 document. Later, they participated in 'Suparipalana-Toli Adugu' programme held in Bondapalli village of Gajapathinagaram constituency, represented by Mr. Srinivas. Ms. Anitha interacted with the locals and asked them if they were satisfied with the implementation of the welfare schemes, under the 'Super-Six' assurances given prior to the 2024 general elections.

He said that the Chief Minister had enhanced social welfare programmes, enabling 67 lakh people to receive an additional amount of ₹1,000 as soon as he took reins of the administration in June, 2024. Mr. Murali Mohan said that the Chandrababu Naidu government was very prompt in distribution of pensions in spite of financial problems. The government will credit ₹20,000 in the accounts of farmers very soon and free bus facility will be implemented from August 15. These steps are part of implementation of Super-Six schemes,' said Mr. Murali Mohan.
