Although, it looked like Heidi had made a mistake releasing her 2010 debut album Superficial. Poorly-received by critics and fans alike, the move into music didn't trend well. But over the decades, the record achieved cult status. In 2023, 13 years after its original release, the single I'll Do It went viral on TikTok. When the couple's house was destroyed in the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, Pratt put out a call to fans to stream Superficial to help the couple generate income to rebuild. The single No Going Home delves into the loss. The response led Superficial to top iTunes charts in the U.S., Canada, Sweden and many other markets. It hit #1 on Jan. 12, 2025. Obviously, the moment had arrived to return to music and Montag released Heidiwood in May. She visits Vancouver this week for the Cum Together: Sweet & Sticky event with Heidi Montag on Aug. 2 at Celebrities Nightclub at 7 p.m. Tickets at . A : You know, it's a very challenging market landscape, with the balance of your reality, my reality and what everyone else is going through. I feel that it continues to change with social media and shifting situations in the world. People want both less and more of it, and that makes it quite tricky. It's a career high. After putting so much into Superficial and building that cult following since 2010. There is the previous and new generation of people who are listening to and really enthusiastic about my music and it's great. I love hardcore pop, which I mostly listen to when I'm working out, and the escapism it provides. It was really hard to get through writing it through tears streaming down my face. And recording it was equally hard. If I can help anyone through my experience, in any way, it's something I want to do. You don't realize how many people go through similar things and a lot of people have reached out telling me it really helped them, which is wonderful. My biggest fan base, from the beginning, has been the community and my entire team is gay. So not only am I performing for the community, which is dear to my heart, but also some of the people I'm closest with. Right now, I just want people to be able to come and enjoy that 'pop 2000s' feel of my music and show. I am previewing my new single on tour and I have another full album done. I think they are my best songs to date and an incredible followup for Heidiwood, which was a big evolution. It's quintessential pop and I'm absolutely loving being back performing. Heidi Montag thinks confidence is "really sexy". The 38-year-old star believes self-confidence "goes a lot further than people think". Speaking to Us Weekly, she explained: "Confidence is really sexy, and it goes a lot further than people think. [It] radiates from the inside." Heidi is set to release her long-awaited new album, 'Heidiwood', later this week, and she's described the record as "sexy". The reality TV star - who released her last album, 'Superficial', back in 2010 - shared: "I've been working on it for a year, and it's just that fun, sexy, escape pop album that I feel like everybody's needing right now. So each song is a bop." Heidi grew up in the small ski town of Crested Butte in Colorado - but she always thought she was destined for stardom. Heidi - who has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2008 - recently told The Independent: "It was a smaller version of Aspen that was more exclusive. "Dolly Parton came there, [as did] Madonna and Michael Keaton and all these really big producers, so whenever celebrities came in, I just always felt this wind of significance and fate for myself." Heidi believes she's always been destined for Hollywood and for success.
