Amazon's bestselling iron loved by almost 30,000 shoppers costs less than £22
The Russell Hobbs iron is down from £49.99 to £21.99 on Amazon.
Getting a great-quality iron that isn't too costly, irons clothes to a high standard, and doesn't leak on random occasions can be a difficult task. There are a number of brands out there, but shoppers now want an option that will stand the test of time.
Russell Hobbs has always been a well-loved brand known for its quality gadgets and accessories, including irons. Although they can sometimes be on the pricier side, shoppers may now be in luck as they can grab the Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Iron for £21.99, down from £49.99 on Amazon - almost 60% off.
This iron has several handy features, including a two-metre-long power cord, which makes it ideal for ironing larger items. It is also self-cleaning, which will save buyers time and energy. It also comes with a soft-touch handle and a dial alongside a large, easy-fill 300ml water tank and spray function.
With a stainless steel sole, it is said to glide effortlessly through hard wrinkles meaning shoppers no longer need to worry about fighting with their iron and clothes to get the results they desire. It also features continuous steam and steam boost, giving a 35g steamshot.
Elsewhere, the Tower T2008 2-in-1 Steam Iron is now £23 at Argos. This iron offers both a corded option and a cordless option if needed. It weighs a light 1.2kg, has a soft-grip handle and an anti-drip system to protect clothes from water spillages. For a slightly cheaper option there is also the Dunelm 2220W Ceramic Iron for £15 from Dunelm which offers 30g per minute continuous steam, a 99g per minute steam shot and has a 230ml water tank.
The Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Iron however has a 4.3 out of 5 star rating from more than 28,000 reviews on Amazon. One shopper said: "Great price. Nice and light, which is good news as I have arthritis in my hands, you can see how much water you have in the tank, and the stainless steel bottom seems to glide through my ironing. Very happy with my purchase."
Another said: "Absolutely fine , good value for the cost. I like the sole plate which is not ceramic and easily to clean."

Some others rated it lower, with three and four stars, while sharing their experiences and thoughts. One customer said: "The iron itself seems to work well. I am just disappointed that it has what I call an old-fashioned type cord covered cable."
