For my film preparation, I've been running all over the place in the hope of shadowing and finding inspiration from musicians, and getting to meet the best of the best while on that journey is a blessing of the highest regard."
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have become overnight sensations with their movie, Saiyaara. The film, which hit theatres on July 18, has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience.
Saiyaara revolves around Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra, a budding journalist. As their love blossoms, they find themselves up against numerous odds. Set to a soundtrack that's already winning hearts, the film blends romance, ambition, and emotional drama.
The film has been receiving positive reviews from both critics and audiences. It has crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office in just four days.
The Suri-directed film collected ₹25 crore on Day 1 of its release on July 18 and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. Saiyaara has also outperformed the first-day collections of recent romantic films. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani made ₹11.1 crore, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar brought in ₹15.73 crore. The movie has also surpassed the opening day collection of previous hits in Suri's arsenal — Ek Villain was his previous best, raking in ₹16.70 crore on its release day.
