Summary MAVI's hot streak continues. The North Carolina rapper is showing no signs of slowing down this summer, keeping himself busy with both new music and vinyl re-releases, most recently unveiling a new edition of theshadowboxvinyl. His latest move? More new music that comes equipped with yet another big-name collaborator. Dubbed 'Potluck,' the sprawling, synth-infused cut marks MAVI's first-ever collaborative offering withSmino. 'Potluck' arrives on the heels of MAVI's latest link-up withEarl Sweatshirt, 'Landgrab,' which signaled the pair's first in-studio collaboration since 2019's 'EL TORO COMBO MEAL.' The just-over-two-and-a-half-minute 'Potluck' takes a similar tone to 'Landgrab,' with Mav and Smi passing the beat back and forth effortlessly to one another, making it seem like this is at least their fifth time working together. It's hard to believe it's just the first. MAVI handles the first verse and chorus, handing it over to Smino for the second.
