The match was a stellar showdown and led to loud cheers from the audience. In the end, The CEO rolled up Shirakawa for the pin to retain her title. She even attacked "Timeless" Toni Storm who was watching the action ringside. As she was leaving the ringside area, Mone decided to steal one of John Cena's iconic catchphrases. She held the TBS title high, looking into the camera to send a message to Toni Storm and said, "Your Time is Up, My Time is Now." Cena has been heard saying the line for years, and this is even the first line of his WWE theme song that he recorded himself. Mercedes Mone and Timeless Toni Storm have been engaged in a heated feud for weeks. It began when Mone won the Owen Hart Foundation Cup to earn the right to challenge her for her AEW Women's World title at their premier event, AEW All In Texas in a few weeks. It has been billed as a dream showdown for the company and is expected to be nothing short of a blockbuster event. As for John Cena, he is halfway through his farewell tour in WWE. AEW Collision Viewership Decreases On 5/22, Demo Stays Even

AEW Collision saw a decrease in viewership on May 22 when the show moved back to Thursday and had to compete with the NBA and NHL Playoffs. According to Wrestlenomics, Collision averaged 353,000 viewers on Thursday. The show drew a 0.08 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week's episode, when an average of 398,000 viewers tuned in. The demo stayed even from last week's show (0.08 rating in the same demographic). Viewership for Thursday's show on MAX is also unknown at this time. What happened on AEW Collision this week? This week's show kicked off with an in-ring contract signing between FTR, Daniel Garcia, and Nigel McGuinness for their tag team match at Double or Nothing. Willow Nightingale Confirms AEW Contract Status

Willow Nightingale is still All Elite. Last week, Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp reported that Willow Nightingale had re-signed with All Elite Wrestling under a multi-year contract. Nightingale, whose previous contract expired later this year, was reportedly happy with her run in AEW, so much so that she looked to stay with the company. Advertisement The Takedown on SI confirmed this to be the case through a new interview with Nightingale. 'That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,' Nightingale told The Takedown on SI's Jon Alba. 'I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish. But also, I'm just really excited to be a part of something when it's fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we're past the years of finding our footing. But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I'm excited to continue, to take part in that.' Nightingale, A 10-year veteran, initially signed with AEW in late 2022. Since then, she's notably claimed the TBS Championship. In 2023, she also won the 2023 Women's Owen Hart Foundation tournament by defeating Ruby Soho in the finals. Currently, Nightingale finds herself entangled in the ongoing story involving The Death Riders, The Elite, The Opps, Swerve Strickland, and Kenny Omega.
