T-Mobile is handing out a major freebie, and it could save you hundreds a year
T-Mobile is adding another perk for its users, this time through a new partnership with DoorDash. Starting July 8, eligible T-Mobile customers will be able to get a free DashPass subscription, which usually costs $10 per month or $120 per year. The benefit will be available through the T-Life app and includes the standard DashPass features. That means no delivery fees on eligible orders and reduced service fees. For people who order delivery often, this could lead to noticeable savings over time. The announcement came during T-Mobile 's recent livestream event called "Trade-offs Left The Chat," where the company also discussed its expanding T-Satellite coverage. CEO Mike Sievert said customers who use DoorDash regularly could save between $600 and $700 a year through this deal. This offer isn't just for new or premium plan holders. T-Mobile says the DashPass perk will apply to users on "all popular plans," including older ones like Magenta and ONE. It's not clear yet if customers on even older plans like Simple Choice will be eligible, but if you currently have access to T-Mobile Tuesdays, there's a good chance you'll get this benefit too. To claim the free DashPass, customers will need to go through the T-Life app starting July 8. Once the offer is live, users can activate it and link it to their DoorDash account. One detail that hasn't been confirmed is whether the subscription will include access to HBO Max, which sometimes comes bundled with an annual DashPass membership. T-Mobile has not commented on that, and it's unlikely to be included unless a separate agreement is made. Most of these kinds of perks tend to offer the basic version of a service. Still, this is a solid addition to T-Mobile 's lineup of benefits. It could be especially useful for people who order food or groceries often. The official start of summer is just around the corner, and you know what that means: it's grilling season! T-Mobile is celebrating BBQ season with a free grill spatula available tomorrow as part of the company's latest T-Mobile Tuesdays perks. The news was first reported on by The Mobile Report and later confirmed via T-Mobile itself. This marks only the second time T-Mobile has given away spatulas, the first being back in 2019. This isn't too surprising, as T-Mobile often repeats its physical giveaways — even if they're sometimes years apart. The new spatula features a large 'T' cutout, complete with the iconic dots on each side. T-Mobile is about to celebrate the 9th anniversary of its industry-leading T-Mobile Tuesdays rewards program by holding a "Thankiversary." The celebration kicks off tomorrow, which of course is a Tuesday (June 3rd), and T-Mobile subscribers are about to receive more of the perks that the program is known for. To customers of the nation's second-largest carrier, it will seem like T-Mobile Tuesdays on steroids. The T-Mobile Tuesdays program started back in 2016 when John Legere was CEO and over the ensuing years 1.2 billion items have been handed out. That includes 500 million dining deals, 56 million movie tickets, and 4.5 million Slurpees! To be clear, T-Mobile customers, Metro by T-Mobile subscribers, and small business customers will participate in the "Thankiversary." Starting tomorrow, T-Mobile will reward its customers by offering them a free Slurpee from 7-Eleven, a free Whopper Jr. with a $1 purchase at Burger King, buy one, get one 10-piece wings at Wingstop, and BOGO baked goods from Cinnabon. Getting to those places might use up some of the gas in your car, so T-Mobile will give you 25 cents a gallon off Shell gas (up to 20 gallons). The third-largest wireless carrier in the US is turning nine, and it's celebrating the occasion with a 'Thankiversary' celebration that gives T-Mobile customers plenty of free food offers, fuel perks, $5 movie tickets, and a chance to enter a giveaway of nine prizes.
