On Monday (July 28), the 34-year-old took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse into her betrothal ceremony, held in accordance with traditional Chinese pre-wedding customs. The celebration featured an impressive array of gifts from her fiance, including boxes of intricate gold jewellery like bracelets, necklaces, earrings and hairpins. Other offerings included bottles of fine wine, an assortment of pastries as well as expensive seafood such as abalone, fish maw and shark's fin. 'Taking part in my own betrothal ceremony certainly feels very special. Recognising the values of respect to our families is important to us, so with this next big step coming up soon, I say yes to honouring traditions! Yes to all the luck! And yes to double happiness,' the actress captioned her post. In a recent interview with Hong Kong's Oriental Daily , the former TVB star said she has been busy with wedding preparations. She also shared that their pre-wedding photos have been taken at venues sentimental to the couple's dating journey. 'Returning to those places felt really special. It's like reliving the time when he was pursuing me. 'The most memorable location would be the restaurant where we had our first date. We met as strangers back then. Now, we're returning as an engaged couple,' she said. Huynh revealed that the wedding will be an intimate ceremony held overseas, with only family and close friends in attendance. As for plans to have children, the actress is leaving it to fate, adding: 'Both of us love children, so who knows? Maybe something special might be in store for us.'

In a delightful Instagram update, the 74-year-old shared that she visited a durian farm, indulging in various types of the fruit, including the renowned Musang King. Her post featured several photos of her happily posing with the spiky delights. Lee's reunion with Liu Wai Hung was particularly special, marking their first meeting in 30 years. Liu recently opened a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The pair had previously starred together in the TVB sitcom 'Three In A Family'. Lee shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, "Apart from the durian I've already tasted, I also went to this amazing new restaurant that just opened! The last time Liu and I met was 30 years ago when we worked on 'Three In A Family'. Today marks something special." According to Sin Chew Daily, Lee continued her journey to Melaka. There, she embraced the local culture by donning a blue baju kebaya and posing for photos at various landmarks. She also enjoyed a scenic boat ride along the Melaka River and was even spotted busking on the streets, much to the delight of onlookers.

HONG KONG: Actress Rosina Lam and her husband, finance executive Jason Mok, recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in Malaysia. On July 27, Lam, 38, shared a group photo on social media featuring her husband and several celebrity friends, including popular actors Joel Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Shaun Tam, and Toby Leung. In the photo, Lam, who was born in mainland China, was seen giving a thumbs-up while her husband leaned affectionately against her, holding her arm in a sweet display of affection. The couple tied the knot on July 25, 2015, in a private ceremony at a mansion in Hong Kong's prestigious Victoria Peak, where property prices reportedly reach HK$1.5 billion (RM810 million). "Happy 10th wedding anniversary! Let's stay together through thick and thin! Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your company," the TVB star captioned her post. Despite persistent rumours since May suggesting Lam is involved in a bankruptcy petition, the award-winning actress remains unfazed and in good spirits in her latest social media updates. She previously addressed the speculation on May 30, explaining that while her husband's rental property company is involved in a legal dispute and is appealing the case, it doesn't affect her personally. "I'm not bankrupt. Please stop spreading rumours. The matter has been handed over to our lawyer," she said at the time. The case is reportedly scheduled for a hearing on Aug 26.

HONG KONG: Popular actress Charmaine Sheh received a warm welcome from hundreds of Malaysian fans during her appearance at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on July 26. The 50-year-old star was in town for the grand opening of a restaurant, which included a special meet-and-greet session with her fans. Speaking to local media, Sheh expressed a keen interest in returning to Malaysia for future filming opportunities. She had previously shot the popular TVB drama 'The Heir To The Throne' in various locations around the Klang Valley. "It's very comfortable here. The food is delicious, and the scenery is beautiful. I also had a lot of fun getting along with the other actors. Malaysia is like a second Hong Kong," she said. Sheh added that she had been eating non-stop since her arrival on July 24. Among the local delicacies she particularly enjoyed were durian, chicken rice, and satay. " I don't have to worry about losing weight," said the actress, who recently wrapped up filming for the second season of 'Queen Of News'. Sheh also revealed that her mother had joined her on this Malaysian trip, and the pair plan to extend their stay. "We'll be staying a few more days to go sightseeing," she said.
