vivo Watch 5 eSIM version and vivo TWS Air 3 Pro announced
Yesterday, vivo unveiled its vivo X Fold 5 in China, but the maker also announced two new wearables. These include a new eSIM version of its vivo Watch 5 alongside its latest wireless earbuds – the TWS Air 3 Pro. vivo Watch 5 eSIM The new eSIM vivo Watch 5 is identical in looks and specs to the regular model, with the only difference being it can connect to mobile networks. This means you can make and take calls, send out messages and use apps like WeChat without needing a paired phone. Watch 5 eSIM is advertised to reach up to 14 days of usage and comes in Black, White, and Silver colors. Pricing in China is set at CNY 999 ($140). TWS Air 3 Pro offers 12mm drivers with custom Golden Ears tuning, up to 50dB of ANC and come in standard and a long-battery version. The former offers 47 hours of combined playback with the charging case, while the latter expands that to 52 hours. Both versions offer IP54 ingress protection. vivo TWS Air 3 Pro Vivo TWS Air 3 Pro come in Starry Black and Vitality White colors. vivo X Fold5 launch date confirmed
We now have an official launch date for the vivo X Fold5 - the latest flagship foldable from the brand is launching this month, on June 25. The event will start at 7PM Beijing time (11AM UTC) and will also see the debut of the vivo TWS Air3 Pro wireless earbuds. vivo X Fold5 is launching on June 2 X Fold5 is already available for early bookings from vivo's official online store as well as partnering retailers in China. Users can pay a CNY 10 deposit fee to reserve their X Fold5 and claim a benefit package worth CNY 277. As for the specs of the upcoming foldable, vivo is rumored to go with the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. We've also seen reports that the device will feature 8T LTPO OLED main (8.03') and cover (6.53') displays. vivo X Fold5 color options It will be lighter, thinner and stronger than its predecessor and it will feature something no other foldable does – an IP5X dust resistance.
