The A Place In The Sun presenter, 43, wowed in a plunging black and white snake print swimming costume as she beamed beside the pool and asked fans: 'Who decides when we're 'too old' for anything?✨…' She continued: 'I recently read a comment saying I was too old to wear a bikini… and it honestly made me stop and think for a second. 'But then I reminded myself, life's way too short to worry about what other people think.' Waving in a swimming costume beside her daughter Tahlia she added: 'Today I'm wearing a swimsuit, not because of the comment I read but because I wanted to and I feel comfortable in it! 'We all have days when we feel self-conscious, but we deserve to enjoy the sunshine, the beach, the pool, whatever makes us happy, no matter our age and whether we choose to wear a swimsuit or a bikini!!' Recounting meeting up with Shaggy, she explained: 'I met him for coffee and I had to pay for it. It was at Heathrow airport. 'I'd been working with him, and he said, 'I really want to meet up with you and talk about work opportunities.'' Confirming that he made up a song and sang it to her, she continued: 'God, that was over 20 years ago. I'm not sure he'd recognise me now.' Adding of her dating life now, Laura said: 'I'm busy working and dating and having fun, and I prefer to find people naturally rather than being on dating apps. 'I like to go out and meet people who have common interests. I made a decision going forward that I want to keep that aspect of my life private. 'I think it's really important that if I'm dating people - and I have been dating people - if they're not in the public eye, then they have a right to privacy. 'Just because I'm in the public eye – you never know what their job is, and they might need privacy for security reasons, and so I'm always mindful of that.' Laura and her ex-husband Alex, split after 13 years together. In a statement at the time, she wrote: 'This isn't something I ever thought I'd be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated. Bury schoolgirl, 8, embarks on year-long charity mission
An eight-year-old girl says she feels "joyful" that her year-long series of charity fundraising challenges will help those in from Bury in Greater Manchester, has vowed to raise money throughout 2025 for a wide range of causes close to her include walking 124 miles (200km) over 40 days as part of the Big Lent Walk with her dog Cookie, and completing a sponsored swim in May."Raising money for other people is making me feel really joyful and happy," said Tahlia. 'Super proud' Tahlia started her charity quest in January when she asked friends and family to make a donation to Bury Hospice rather than buying her presents."Before my birthday, I asked my mum if [I can raise money for] charities that care for the world instead," she schoolgirl's kind-hearted decision helped to raise more than £500 for the hospice, which provides palliative and end-of-life February, she saved her pocket money to sponsor Yorik the goat at Bleakholt Animal she is walking 3.1 miles (5km) each day with her canine companion to raise funds for CAFOD (Catholic Agency For Overseas Development) as part of the Big Lent Walk. Shipping resumes at Rio Tinto's East Intercourse Island facility at Dampier Port
PERTH, Australia, March 02, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rio Tinto's East Intercourse Island (EII) facility at Dampier Port in Western Australia's Pilbara region has resumed operations after being impacted by Tropical Cyclone Sean. A railcar dumper at the EII port facility was flooded when Tropical Cyclone Sean delivered record rain along parts of the Pilbara coastline, including 274mm to Karratha, on 20 January 2025. Dumper operation at EII resumed last week and the first ship was loaded today. As stated in the full year results on 19 February 2025, operations at the Dampier and Cape Lambert Ports were also impacted by Tropical Cyclone Tahlia, Tropical Cyclone Vince and Tropical Cyclone Zelia, with total losses from all four cyclones anticipated to be about 13 million tonnes in the year to date. Mitigation plans are in place to offset about half of this through the course of the year. Pilbara iron ore shipment guidance for 2025 remains unchanged at 323 to 338 million tonnes. As the system rebalances and normal operations resume, an update will be provided in the first quarter operations review on 16 April 2025.
