Best romance anime where the couple actually ends up together
Source: Crunchyroll Let's be honest, anime romance can be painfully slow. You sit through 12 or 24 episodes of shy glances, accidental touches, inner monologues and then they still don't confess. Or worse, they do and the series ends before we see them actually be together. If you're tired of that cycle and just want to watch couples who finally get their happy ending, this one's for you. Here are the best romance anime where the main couple officially ends up together, confessions and all. Romance animes where the leads end up together Toradora! Source: IMDB Ryuji and Taiga's relationship starts as a chaotic friendship built on helping each other get with their crushes but turns into something real, honest, and beautifully awkward. The ending gives a full-circle confession and a believable, heartwarming conclusion to their journey. My Love Story!! (Ore Monogatari!!) Source: IMDB Takeo and Yamato are in a relationship from early on, and the rest of the anime shows their adorable, sincere efforts to understand love. No games, no drama, just a refreshing couple who support each other and grow closer in every episode. Kaguya-sama: Love is War After multiple seasons of hilarious psychological warfare, the main couple finally gets serious. Confessions are made, feelings are reciprocated, and they become a couple before the series ends. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Brain tumor has left my son feeling miserable; please help! Donate For Health Donate Now Undo You get payoff, closure, and still plenty of laughs. Horimiya Source: IMDB This one skips all the dragged-out tropes and gets straight to the point. Hori and Miyamura confess, date, meet each other's families, and even talk about the future, all within one season. It's satisfying, grounded, and emotionally rewarding. Fruits Basket (2019) Source: IMDB The reboot gives this classic romance the ending it always deserved. Tohru and Kyo's relationship builds slowly, facing deep emotional trauma, family curses, and personal growth. The final season delivers a powerful confession and a clear glimpse of their life together. Clannad : After Story Souce : IMDB The romance in Clannad grows from school crush to married life, with everything in between. You see the characters face real adult struggles, including tragedy, grief, and parenting. It's one of the most complete love stories anime has ever told. LovelyComplex Source: IMDB This underrated gem features a tall girl and a short boy navigating insecurities, humour, and miscommunications. Despite the odds, they confess, grow together, and actually get a proper romantic ending that doesn't leave you hanging. Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You Source: IMDB This one skips dating entirely and starts with marriage. Nasa and Tsukasa are newlyweds from the get-go, and the anime focuses on their sweet, awkward journey as a couple, not whether they'll end up together, but how they make it work. The Dangers in My Heart Source: IMDB What starts as a darkly comedic and awkward friendship turns into something sincere. The MC's inner monologue contrasts hilariously with his growing affection for the female lead, and by the end of season 2, they finally confess, with more development coming soon. ReLIFE Source: IMDB ReLIFE isn't just about second chances in school, but also in love. Arata and Chizuru's bond deepens slowly, and the emotional payoff comes in the final episode and epilogue. The story gives them the future they deserve, and it feels earned. Romance anime doesn't always have to end with 'maybe someday.' These shows prove that when done right, watching a couple actually get together (and stay together) is incredibly satisfying. Whether you love dramatic build-ups or wholesome fluff, there's something on this list that ends with more than just a promise, it ends with real love. Also read| Liked Spy x Family? I visited European wellness haven with gorgeous nature parks, huge theme park and foraging walk just 3 hours from Dublin
WHAT'S the first thing you think of on mention of a family trip to Finland? Snow and Santa, right? More than a library, Oodi offers visitors creative resources and a space to engage with the city's diverse urban life. For the girls there were several playgrounds around the library which is also close to the picturesque Töölö Lake. Guided by Anna Nyman - a biologist, forager and herbalist - she showed us a world of wild edible plants and herbs. FINLAND'S OLDEST AMUSEMENT PARK We nibbled on heart's-ease pansies, ground elder, and wood sorrel. Rosie particularly liked the flowers of the blueberry plant. Then, in contrast to the relaxing morning spent being at one with nature, we set off to do something a bit more high-octane. Advertisement Linnanmäki, which boasts over 40 rides, is Finland's oldest and most popular The girls were still too young to go on the park's wilder rides, such as Swingi, which swings visitors from side to side at nearly 100 km/h, or the rollercoaster Taiga - that throws you upside down four times per ride with a top speed of 106 km/h. But we did try some more of the sedate spins and the girls enjoyed being budding truck drivers on Rekkaralli, and spinning around on Propelli. While in Helsinki we also took the ferry across to Suomenlinna, the historic sea fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site, steeped in maritime history and charm. Advertisement The entire area of Suomenlinna has about 200 buildings spread over 80 hectares of land. The fortress alone has about 6km of walls and over a hundred cannons. When you alternate the heat of the sauna with a 30 to 60-second dip in the sea, lake, or a cold shower, your body responds with a rush of feel-good hormones. The girls loved it too! Sarawak kids shine at Hippo English competition in Vietnam
The children from Sarawak who competed in the Hippo English Without Borders competition in Da Nang. DA NANG (July 11): The enthusiasm to prove their English chops was seen on the faces of 291 children from different countries during a balmy Saturday morning here last week as they gathered to compete in the far east regional qualifier of Hippo's English Without Borders competition on July 5, 2025. Among them were children from Sarawak: Taiga Ling Ren Xing, Ethan Chua Jun Quan and Stella Chang Ching Yi from St Joseph's Private Schools, Kuching; Arman Abu Bakar from Sekolah Sri Knewton, Miri; Jared Lee Ren Lau from SJK Chung Hua No. 1, Kuching; and Jolyn Chiong Jia Hxuan from SJKC Su Tak, Sarikei. There were other children from Malaysia who were also vying to secure an opportunity to represent Malaysia in the academic competition's World Finals stage. Billed as a global academic English competition, Hippo, which started in 2013, is targeted at children between six to 19 years old who compete according to their age groups over four stages. Some 93,148 students from 3,208 schools across 73 countries participated in the competition this year, with the World Finals to be held from Sept 29 to Oct 1, 2025 in Assisi, Italy. Taiga made Sarawak proud when he clinched the gold medal in the Little Hippo category, thus securing his invitation to the World Finals. Six children from other Malaysian states also won their 'golden ticket' through scoring the best mark in their respective categories. They will join potentially 37 children from Malaysia, including two from Sarawak – Ronald Hu King Onn from SMK Chung Hua, Sibu; and Theodora Pei Ern Huei from SMK Merbau, Miri, who have already qualified to the World Finals during the contest's National Finals stage earlier. Taiga, who turns 10 this year, has attempted the competition three times thus far. 'I feel very excited (about winning); I'm not sure if I am ready for Italy but if they tell me to go, I'll go!' he said with great enthusiasm. Taiga clinched the gold medal in the Little Hippo category and secured a place in the World Finals. Gan Choon Keong from Caya Academy, which is the Malaysia and Singapore Hippo coordinator, said the Hippo English competition has grown in popularity in Malaysia since they introduced it to the country in 2020. Starting with just 3,000 participants in the first year, the competition has now attracted over 19,000 participants in 2025, making it one of the most well-received English language competitions that emphasises the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standard, he said. Gan observed that as Hippo gained popularity in Malaysia, many participants returned to compete year after year even if they did not advance to the next round. 'Feedback from these participants shows that they see Hippo as a valuable opportunity to continue learning, improve their English proficiency, and enjoy their language learning journey,' he explained. 'Each year, through the Hippo World Final Round, over 40 top-performing participants from Malaysia qualify to compete in the Grand Final in Italy, joining other top English learners from more than 70 countries around the world.' Daniele Piacenti, a Hippo founder, explained that the Hippo competition started in Venice, Italy as it was seen as a neutral area for children from Western and Eastern European countries to gather and have a friendly competition at a time of heightened political tensions. By 2015, the competition had reached Abu Dhabi, and Asia by 2016. Piacenti further drew attention to the availability of scholarships, Hippo4Equity Grants, that are targeted at Hippo candidates from low socioeconomic backgrounds. These grants help enable disadvantaged children to participate in international Hippo events including the World Finals. Application details for Hippo4Equity Grants can be found at competition English Hippo lead Sarawak kids vietnam
