Love Island fans 'rumble secret' behind Angel's magic trick during villa talent show

It was time for the annual talent show in tonight's Love Island, and once again the Islanders didn't disappoint - although it wouldn't be a challenge without drama If there's one thing Love Island fans look forward to every year other than the Heart Rate Challenge, it's the Talent Show. Tonight it was time for the Islanders to show off their hidden talents, and they didn't dissapoint. ‌ Cach was first up to show off his dance moves, but it wasn't the first time he'd shown off his killer moves. Last week, he took to the stage at the Love Island festival - even gaining praise from Tinie Tempah himself. ‌ His moves of course impressed his partner Toni, but it was Angel who fans were most impressed with. Teaming up as a double act, Ty and Angel performed a magic trick, as Cach picked out the seven of hearts. ‌ Angel correctly guessed his card, but it didn't stop there. Later on, Angel told Blu to check under his seat, and low and behold, it was the seven of hearts. "HOW HAS SHE DONE THAT?" Megan screamed. Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter also had the same reaction, as one penned: "Okay but on a real how did Angel do that magic trick??" while another questioned: "Wait but how did Angel do that lowkey?" It looks like fans were left flabbergasted behind Angel's tricks, but others weren't so convinced, as one penned: "We know that trick Angel Boring." Another thought they'd worked out exactly how Angel had done it, as they suspected: "this magic show was set up right? #LoveIsland." A third unconvinced fan tweeted: "producers telling angel the card i'm not moved." ‌ Despite the villa and fans being impressed with Angel's skills, nothing was getting past Vegas girl Toni as she told the cameras the duo won't be getting their Vegas residency anytime soon. Elsewhere, Yas taught her fellow Islanders how to perfect their posture. Throughout the course of the show, fans and fellow Islanders have praised Yas on her posture, and tonight, she provided a masterclass on how to be just like her. Placing a book on her head, Yas walked to and from the firepit, as the Islanders watched on in awe. Yas isn't the only member of her family to be praised for her great posture. During the Meet The Family episodes, her mother and sister Zara entered the villa - and received the same compliments. Last but not least, Helena didn't hold back with her airline themed roast, as she told Shakira she needed an "extra seat belt to secure her man," referring to her ex Harry.

Brendan O'Carroll reveals what's in store as Mrs Brown's Boys returns

BRENDAN O'CARROLL has revealed what's in store as his beloved Mrs Brown's Boys returns with a new series this month. The Dubliner, who created, writes and stars in the popular sitcom, will return to our screens as family matriarch Agnes Brown next month, when the fifth series airs on BBC One. This week the Finglas native shared some insights on what viewers can expect when the Irish family return to our screens next month… What does the new series have in store for Agnes? The mini-series focuses on the continuing life in the Brown family and surrounding households in Finglas. Cathy gets involved with a podcast producer, which obviously is commandeered by Agnes, Winnie and Birdy. Granddad decides that he wants to leave the family home for a care home, Agnes of course packs his bags for him. Winnie's husband's car, which has been lying up for ten years, is pressed into action by Winnie, leading to a disastrous driving test which ends with a huge shock for the Brown family. In Foley's lounge bar, Father Damien stages his annual Finglas talent show, with some hilarious entries. All capped off with a wonderfully hilarious "trip" as Agnes is confined to a mobile chair. How do you approach writing for the show? The writing of the mini-series is much more relaxing for myself and Paddy Houlihan, who joins me as a writer. With the Christmas Specials, I have to keep it within the Christmas period (including the Christmas trees which have emerged as their own event), unlike the specials we can focus on anything, within reason. How did the ideas for the episodes this series come about? The ideas for these episodes are no different from the previous 53 episodes. Believe it or not most of the story lines are based on true events that either happened to my family or have been told to me by people about their families. Everybody has a story, and it's quite common for someone in a family to say in the middle of a family disaster, "This is like an episode of Mrs. Brown's Boys". Did you have a favourite moment filming this series? Oh yeah, Having Agnes on that mobility scooter was such fun. She goes nuts, with hilarious consequences. Also in the "Talent Show" episode I love the interaction between Agnes and Granddad. Look, in every episode there is something that stands out for me, I love being Agnes Brown and I love her family, and her neighbours like Winnie and Birdy. If you could play any other role in Mrs Brown's Boys what would it be? This is a hard one. I love being Agnes. I'm not lying when I say... I could not play any of the characters better than the actors who play them now. In particular, the likes of Cathy or Mark, without them the gags don't work. What does filming the show in front of a studio audience bring to it? Filming in front of a live audience is essential to the show. So many times, at the end of rehearsals for a particular episode, our Director, Ben Kellett will say "All this needs now is the audience" and he is so right. They follow every move, every line and add so much to our performances. We would be lost without them. What's the secret to the enduring success of the show? I honestly don't know the secret to the enduring success of Mrs. Brown's Boys, I write and perform what I think is funny and just hope that somebody somewhere watching gets a laugh out of it. That's it, and, although I sometimes try to include a "family" message along the way, essentially, it's just a bunch of actors trying to make you laugh. Mrs Brown's Boys airs on BBC One at 9.30pm on Friday, August 1.

BGT finalist hits back in furious rant after being accused of ‘trying to rig final' by trolls who say she ‘can't sing'

BRITAIN'S Got Talent finalist Stacey Leadbeatter has issued a defiant response after being subjected to a slew of trolling messages. The singer has unleashed a furious rant against her haters after being unfairly targeted after failing to win audience votes during Saturday's final on ITV. 4 Stacey, KSI 's Golden Buzzer act, had proved a fan favourite throughout the contest, however the tide appeared to turn during the show's final outing over the weekend. Having sung Robbie Williams hit Angel and receiving major praise from the judges, there was shock when it was revealed that Stacey had finished in last place on the final night. Stacey was ranked 11th and as such below all of her fellow finalists. Since then, fans have accused the singer of 'trying to rig votes' by broadcasting live on TikTok during the final - something Stacey has denied. Hitting back at the negativity she has faced since her performance, Stacey wrote online: "Some of the comments I am getting are hilarious. 'You came last hahaha' nope. "I didn't come last I came 11th out of THOUSANDS and I am incredible proud of that." She then added: "'You tried rigging the votes by coming on tiktok live' nope, I have been on tiktok for 5 years now and I have been [lucky to] have a large platform throughout this time. "'You looked like a drag queen,' thank you, Drag queens are stunning." Stacey then appeared to confirm she was bereft by "personal stuff" which could have affected the end result of her performance. Hitting back at critics of her vocals, she said: "'You Sounded horrible you can't sing' that's your personal opinion plus you try and sing live on TV in front of millions with personal stuff going on.' Britain's Got Talent embroiled in yet another FIX row as fans are left furious over semi-final result "You can't sing,' the Simon Cowell gave me two standing ovations. And has told me he thinks I can sing. Who am I going to listen to? "There is so much more I could say but I'm not going to. "It's sad that people are so miserable that they have to try and bully someone they don't know on the internet for chasing their dreams and doing something they love." She then closed her message to say: "Shame on you." Magician Harry Moulding became the second ever magic act to win the contest. He finished in first place and received the £250,000 payout as well as a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance. BGT's Best Golden Buzzer Moments BGT have handed out many Golden Buzzer's over the years, can you remember some of the most famous Loren Allred - Loren Allred, 32, from Brooklyn, New York jetted to London to audition after recording the vocals for The Greatest Showman. The stunning singer got a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer from the judges as she delivered a stirring rendition of Never Enough from the popular film. Loren came out on stage and revealed to the judges they would have heard her voice many times before that moment. "I was hired to record the vocals for The Greatest Showman as a guide for the actors to know how to sing the songs," she explained. Loren then revealed actress Rebecca Ferguson was so stunned by her singing that she decided to let her vocals be heard in the movie. "So she lip-synced," Loren said. Chicken Shed Theatre Company - Comprised of individuals aged between 5 and 37, the group was set up to welcome anyone irrespective of background to get up on stage and perform and fulfil their dream. Chicken Shed prides itself on accepting anyone and does not hold auditions to make the group a safe and inclusive space. The group wowed as they performed Wonder by Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sande. It meant that Alesha wasted no time as she decided to hit her golden buzzer for the young performers. She told them it was her "honour" to reward their inclusiveness with her golden buzzer. The Dancing Granny - Granny Paddy Jones and her professional partner Niko Espinosa first hit headlines when they won the Spanish talent show Tú sí que vales in 2009, before going on to appear on Britain's Got Talent in 2014 where they came ninth. Amanda Holden was so impressed with Paddy that she gave her the Golden Buzzer, which sent them straight through to the semi-finals. But things took a worrying turn when Paddy cracked a rib while rehearsing a new move and her place on the show was under doubt. She was given the all-clear to perform in the end but didn't quite live up to expectations. Bars and Melody - They will forever be remembered for their anti-bullying song on the talent show. Bars and Melody were first seen on the 2014 series of Britain's Got Talent, getting shuttled into the semi-finals when Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer. They made it to the final thanks to a performance of I'll Be Missing You but lost out on the crown to Collabro. These days Charlie Lenehan - known as Melody - is covered in tattoos, with inkings on his neck, arms and chest. But he is as close as ever to co-star Leondre Devries - who is Bars - with the pair seen enjoying themselves in exotic locations all over the world. 4 4
