Vanderbilt baseball signee Talon Haley picked by Los Angeles Angels in 2025 MLB Draft
Vanderbilt baseball signee Talon Haley was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 12th round of the 2025 MLB Draft on July 14.
Haley, who is 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, attended Lewisburg High School in Mississippi. He is considered one of the most polished high school lefties in the class, with a fastball up to 94 mph and a good curveball. He is ranked the No. 82 recruit in the 2025 class by Perfect Game and the No. 91 draft prospect by MLB Pipeline.

Haley, who was taken at pick No. 349, has an extensive injury history that includes two elbow surgeries as well as a bout with cancer.
Vanderbilt has had at least one high-school signee selected in every draft since 2017. .
