A few days after the tragic incident, a voice message she reportedly sent shortly before her death has gone viral on social media. The message was shared by her close friend, Dureshehwar. In the voice note, Humaira can be heard saying, 'I'm so sorry, I was travelling, caught up here and there. I'm so happy tum Makkah me ho. [Please pray a lot for me… Pray a lot from your heart for your cute friend/sister. For my career, please remember me in your prayers. You have to pray a lot for me]." In a shocking twist to the death of Humaira Asghar, it has now been reported that although her body was discovered in her Karachi apartment just this week, she actually passed away around nine months ago. According to Arab News, Humaira is believed to have died in October 2024. Due to the long gap, her body was found in an 'advanced stage of decomposition." This has been confirmed by Karachi Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, who conducted the post-mortem examination. 'As per Call Detail Record (CDR) the last call was made in October 2024," Deputy Inspector General of Police Syed Asad Raza told the publication. In addition, the report states that Humaira was last seen by her neighbours in September or October 2024. Interestingly, the only other apartment on her floor was unoccupied at the time, which is why no one noticed any unusual smell coming from her flat. This detail helps explain how her death went unnoticed for so many months. Not just this, officials also revealed that electricity of Humaira's house was also disconnected in October 2024 due to non-payment of bills. 'Humaira's body is likely nine months old. She probably died between paying her last utility bills and when her electricity was disconnected in October 2024, probably due to non-payment of the bill," one of the officials said. Another official also revealed that the food in the actress' home had also been expired for months. 'The jars had rusted, and food had expired six months ago," the official said. Humaira Asghar was known for her appearance on ARY's reality show Tamasha Ghar and for her role in the 2015 film Jalaibee. But her talents went far beyond acting. Pakistani actor Humaira Asghar Ali's demise takes shocking turn as petition alleges murder; police investigate phones and bank data

The demise of Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali has taken a shocking turn, with a new petition suggesting she was murdered. What started off as a sad case of an actress found lifeless in her apartment has now turned into a possible crime story, with police pulling out all stops to find the truth. Found after months in her Karachi flat Humaira's decomposed body was discovered on 8 July 2025 in her locked apartment in Karachi's Defence Phase VI. The discovery stunned many, as she had been a known face in the industry thanks to her work in 'Tamasha Ghar' and 'Jalaibee'. Her passing sparked a major investigation, involving phone records, bank details, and witness interviews, as police tried to piece together what really happened. Petition in court calls it murder As per ARY News, what truly changed the direction of the case was a petition filed by a citizen named Shahzaib Sohail in Karachi's City Court. The petition boldly stated that Humaira was murdered and urged the court to make sure her family was included in the investigation. Reportedly, Shahzaib pointed to video evidence from the apartment and spoke of Humaira's strained ties with her family. His petition raised serious doubts about how the actress was found, which led the court to order police to treat the matter as a possible criminal case. Police crack her phones for answers In a big breakthrough, as reported by The Express Tribune, police managed to unlock three mobile phones and a tablet that belonged to Humaira. They found the passwords in her personal diary, which helped them access her private messages and chats. A laptop was also seized, though police are still trying to unlock it. Investigators are now studying her chat logs and other phone data to see who she was talking to in her final months. They have also started a forensic audit of her bank accounts to check for any odd transactions that could point to blackmail, threats or other shady activities. Talking to friends, staff and her daily contacts Reports also mention that, so far, the police have taken statements from two people linked to Humaira. They have also called in the building's watchman and cleaning staff to see if anyone noticed anything strange. Beyond that, they are speaking to people from her day-to-day life, like her gym trainer and the staff at her beauty salon. All this is being done to try and rebuild a timeline of her last days. What they have found so far is troubling, Humaira's last known communication was back in early October 2024. Even more worrying, her social media activity stopped a month before that, in September 2024. Post-mortem leaves more questions than answers As per multiple reports, an autopsy was done after Humaira's body was found. It revealed that she had likely passed away around 8 to 10 months earlier. Her body was partly mummified and had become skeletal, making it very hard for doctors to figure out exactly what happened. Forensic experts have kept samples for more tests, including toxicology and DNA checks, hoping these might give some answers later. But because of how much the body had decomposed, medical officers have so far kept their opinion reserved on the cause of her demise. Family did not push for answers early on One thing that stands out is that Humaira's family did not take any legal steps before she was found. They hadn't filed any missing person's report or shown signs of concern that could have sped up the search. After the post-mortem was done, her body was sent to Lahore, where she was laid to rest. Her father, Dr Asghar Ali , chose not to comment on what the autopsy showed. Police look at every possible angle The Sindh Police are taking this case very seriously. They have formed a special investigation team of six members, led by SP Clifton Imran Jakhrani. This team is exploring every possible cause—be it natural, suicide, accident or murder. Officials say they are determined to get to the bottom of what happened.

#SHOWBIZ: Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar Ali's severely decomposed body found in Karachi apartment

KARACHI: The Pakistani entertainment industry is reeling from the shocking discovery of actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali's highly decomposed body in her Karachi apartment on Tuesday, revealing a tragic and isolated end to her life. Initial reports suggest she may have been deceased for as long as eight to ten months, with her mobile phone and social media accounts showing no activity since last October, according to Bollywood Life. The grim discovery was made when police, acting on an eviction order due to unpaid rent, forced entry into her apartment after receiving no response. What they found was a scene of extreme decomposition; Humaira's body was unrecognisable, her facial muscles melted, fingers and nails decayed, and internal organs blackened. In a disturbing detail, insects were found inside her body. Despite the advanced state of decay, her head and spine remained intact, with no signs of spinal cord damage or broken bones. Karachi Police Surgeon, Dr Summaiya Syed, who performed the autopsy, confirmed the severe decomposition, making it impossible to determine the exact cause of death. DNA and toxicology tests are currently underway to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding her demise. Investigations by Deputy Police Chief Syed Asad Raza revealed that Humaira's last phone activity was in October 2024, a timeline corroborated by neighbours who last saw her around September or October of last year. Police sources also indicated that electricity to her apartment was disconnected in October 2024 due to unpaid bills, and no alternative power source was found. The presence of expired food items further supported the theory that she had been deceased for many months. Humaira, 32, was known for her appearance in ARY's reality show Tamasha Ghar (the Pakistani version of Big Brother) and had a role in the 2015 film Jalaibee. She was a multifaceted artist, listing herself as an actress, model, theatre artist, painter, sculptor, and fitness enthusiast on her Instagram, where she boasted over 732,000 followers. Her last post was a series of candid photos. The actress had reportedly been living in the Karachi apartment for seven years but had not paid rent since 2024. This led her landlord to seek a court order, ultimately resulting in the police intervention that uncovered her body. Initially, there were reports that Humaira's father refused to claim her body, allegedly stating that the family had long severed ties with her. However, her brother, Naveed Asghar, has since travelled to Karachi to claim her remains following a DNA test to confirm her identity. Naveed explained that his younger sister had moved from Lahore to Karachi seven years ago and gradually became estranged from the family, only visiting every few months. He noted that she had not been home for a year and a half before her death.

Pakistani Actor Humaira Asghar's Organs Turned Black; Postmortem Reveals Chilling Details

Last Updated: Reportedly, postmortem report has revealed that major organs of the actress reduced to an "unidentifiable mass" since her body was kept for a long time. Days after Pakistani Actor Humaira Asghar's dead body was recovered from her Karachi apartment, approximately nine months after her death, the postmortem report has revealed some chilling details. As reported by Geo News, forensic experts confirmed that Humaira's body was in an 'advanced stage of decomposition" when it was found by police officials earlier this month. Reportedly, the postmortem report has revealed that major organs of the actress were reduced to an 'unidentifiable mass" since her body was kept for a long time. Not just this, her facial features also became completely unrecognisable. 'Parts of the body were entirely devoid of muscle tissue, and the bones began to disintegrate upon touch," the report stated. 'The brain matter was completely decomposed via autolysis, and internal organs turned into a black-coloured mass. The cartilage in joints was absent; however, it said no fractures were detected in bones," it added. Investigators also stated that there was the presence of insects in the remains. 'Experts say that these details may help determine the environmental conditions in which she lay undisturbed," the report said. 'According to the post-mortem findings, the head and spine remained intact, but there was no spinal cord as the body was highly decomposed. It further said brown-coloured insects were present, especially in the hair, but no maggots were found," the post-mortem report mentioned. However, due to this advanced decomposition, the postmortem report could not figure out the exact cause of death. Reportedly, the DNA profiling and toxicology tests will not be conducted to ascertain the cause of death. Who Is Humaira Asghar? Humaira Asghar had previously participated in ARY's reality show Tamasha Ghar and played a role in the 2015 film Jalaibee. According to her Instagram bio, she was not only an actress and model but also a theatre artist, painter, sculptor, and a self-described fitness enthusiast. She had over 713,000 followers on the platform. Her last post, shared on September 30, 2024, featured a series of candid photos. Previously, her family also refused to accept her dead body. Her sudden death and the circumstances surrounding her estranged relationship with her family have ignited conversations around mental health, abandonment, and dignity in death.
