Tamer Hosny Delays Album "Lena Maad": Here's When It Arrives
Yara Sameh Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny announced Wednesday that his upcoming studio album, "Lena Maad," has been delayed from July 10 to July 15. Due to reasons beyond our control and because of the internet issue in Egypt, I have just been informed by the companies responsible for releasing and distributing the album that it cannot be released tomorrow due to the internet not yet returning to its full and normal capacity, which will consequently prevent the artistic content from reaching all internet users in Egypt properly. As a result, the album release date has been postponed to Tuesday, July 15, instead of Thursday, July 10," he said in a statement on Instagram. Hosny released his last album 'Hormone ElSaada' in 2023. During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous. Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the 2004 film 'Halet Hob', co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others. Hosny is known for singing 'Kol Mara', 'Bent El Eh' and 'Aktar Haga', and for his roles in films such as 'Omar and Salma' and 'Captin Hema'. Tamer Hosny to Headline 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh
The Egyptian singer is headlining the multi-game esports tournament on July 11th, performing fan favourites like 'Ya Bent El Eh', '180 Darga', and more. Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny is headlining the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, performing live at Abu Bakr Salem Theater on Friday, July 11th. Fans can expect a setlist that includes some of Hosny's most popular tracks, such as 'Ya Bent El Eh', 'Maleket Gamal El Kon', and '180 Darga'. The 2025 Esports World Cup is the second edition of the international multi-title gaming tournament, taking place from July 8th to August 24th. Organised by the Esports World Cup Foundation and supervised by ESL FACEIT Group, this year's lineup includes major titles like Call of Duty, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Counter‑Strike, and PUBG, alongside newcomers such as Valorant, Chess, Fatal Fury, and Crossfire. Tamer Hosny will be joining a stacked musical line-up that includes rapper Post Malone, with Cristiano Ronaldo serving as the competition's Global Ambassador. From Angham to Wegz: Six weeks of stars in third New Alamein Festival
The third edition of the New Alamein Festival, scheduled to take place over six weeks between 18 July and 29 August, features the biggest stars from Egypt and the Arab world. This year's festivities will be held in the U-ARENA, a vibrant new venue located in the heritage district of New Al-Alamein City designed to accommodate thousands of visitors and serve as a hub for music and cultural events. The festival will feature a stellar lineup of top artists from Egypt and the Arab world, including Amr Diab, Angham, Assala Nasri, Tamer Hosny, Tamer Ashour, Marwan Pablo, Lege-Cy, Wegz, Cairokee, and others. Some of the artists are returning, having performed in the festival's second edition (2024), while others will perform in Al-Alamein for the first time. Besides concerts, the festival offers a variety of artistic, sports, entertainment, and culinary events. Last year's New Alamein Festival highlights included Mohamed Mounir, Kadim Al-Sahir, Tamer Hosny, Hany Shaker, Omar Khairat, Hamza Namira, Massar Egbari, Souad Massi, Wegz, Cairokee, Folklorita, and others. The festival also staged several theatre performances, some of which were exclusively performed for Al-Alamein audiences. The plays, performed by a group of Egypt's top actors, included El-Setat Ayza Eih (What Do Women Want), Al-Shuhra (Fame), Al-Televizyon (Television), Bulaq Rouge, and Amloha Ezay (How Did They Do It). Last year's edition attracted visitors from over 104 nationalities, as well as a wide range of public figures, officials, and diplomats from across the Arab world and beyond. The previous edition aimed to draw 2 million visitors and tourists, and was praised for its diverse mix of musical, cultural, and sports events. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly lauded the festival's role in showcasing the rapid development of New Al-Alamein and its growing importance in boosting tourism and promoting Egypt globally. New Al-Alamein is one of Egypt's fastest-growing tourist cities, thanks to its strategic location on the Mediterranean coast and its massive urban development in recent years. The company is launching this project as part of a promising investment plan totaling EGP 10bn over two years. Mohamed ElSaadany, founder and CEO of Carizma Developments, stated that the project is a commercial development combining modern design with a smart strategic location. He explained that the company sees a real gap in the design and management of commercial spaces in the Egyptian market, noted that the company does not merely build structures but aims to create an integrated experience that reflects the user's identity and pays attention to the finest details. ElSaadany added that the new project targets a diverse segment of entrepreneurs, emerging brands, and large companies seeking spaces that reflect their ambitions. He pointed out that the company is focusing on building strong partnerships, delivering smart services, and ensuring efficient management within the project, all of which align with its core philosophy in real estate development. He disclosed that the company plans to invest over EGP 5bn in a range of commercial projects in various locations including Fifth Settlement, Sheikh Zayed, and 6th of October. The company aims to launch its first project for sale within six months, targeting a total investment volume approaching EGP 10bn over two years. He explained that the company was founded in Dubai in 2003, initially specializing in consulting and training. It later decided to move into real estate development in the Egyptian market, especially given the competitive advantages of the Egyptian real estate sector, including strong demand and promising opportunities for serious local and foreign companies. The Z55 project launch celebration was enlivened by artist Tamer Hosny and attended by a distinguished gathering of stars and artists, alongside sports champions and prominent figures from the media and business sectors.
