CCTV footage released as reality star charged with 'horrific' murder
A former reality star remains in custody charged with the murder of her partner as investigating police try to locate parts of the dismembered body. Emergency services attended the scene of a fire in Port Lincoln in South Australia at approximately 3.30pm on Thursday, June 19. A statement from South Australia Police on Tuesday said Mr Story's body was dismembered and his head, which was removed during the dismemberment, has yet to be located 'despite extensive searches.' Searches in and around Port Lincoln included reserves, parks, bushland and the ocean around the pier, with police confirming the search has been 'paused for now but may resume at a later stage.' Pic: South Australia Police Investigators are now focusing on tracing Chesser's steps in the lead-up to her partner's death, with a significant amount of CCTV footage being looked at to see if there are any other important areas to search. They said: 'Police wish to reassure the public that the accused remains in custody charged with murder, and that this was not a random incident. 'Police are trying to track Tamika's movements in the week of the murder, particularly between midnight on Tuesday night and the report of the fire at 3.30pm on Thursday afternoon.' CCTV footage and stills have been released with police urging locals to review them and come forward if they can assist with the investigation. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said they were releasing details of the 'horrific crime' due to the vitality for Mr Story's family to 'peacefully lay him to rest.' He added: 'We know that Tamika did not drive a vehicle and regularly walked around the township of Port Lincoln.
