The Bold and the Beautiful's Miracle Feat: Converting Sheila from Psycho to Savior
There was a time when Sheila was the most feared and hated character on The Bold and the Beautiful, and for good reason. Her crazy past and litany of crimes—from kidnapping, blackmail, and murder to shooting Finn and Steffy and leaving them for dead—have been absolutely horrific. But over the past two years, the show's writers have pulled off the impossible—a downright miracle feat, converting Sheila from psycho to savior. It all started when Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) fell for Deacon (Sean Kanan). The love of the reformed ex-con, who's worked hard to change his own image and reputation, has helped guide her down a path of respectability. She's no longer consumed with revenge and scheming. Instead, Sheila has been walking the straight and narrow, working a steady job at Il Giardino, and, above all, adhering to Finn's (Tanner Novlan) request to steer clear of him and his family despite her deep desire to be a part of it. Upon learning that Luna had a gun from Remy (Christian Weissmann) and recalling her threats to get rid of Steffy and promising that she was going 'to go out with a bang,' Sheila sprung into action. Unable to reach Finn, who was ignoring her texts, Sheila arrived at her son's home desperate to save his wife and warned Taylor (Rebecca Budig) that Steffy was in danger. After learning that Steffy had been summoned to Hayes' beach school and was having issues with a new 'teacher' named Miss Sunshine, Sheila's curiosity piqued. Finding the origami that Hayes had made in class, containing a picture of the sun, a broken heart, and a moon (hello, Luna), Sheila put two and two together and raced to the school. Suddenly, the woman who once considered Steffy her nemesis was riding to her rescue. When Luna pointed a gun at Steffy, Sheila pleaded with her to put the weapon down, but Luna remained undeterred. Having no other choice, Shelia tried to wrangle the gun away from her, only to be shot in the process. It was the final step in Sheila's mind-blowing transformation from psycho to savior. She selflessly put her own life on the line to spare Steffy. Now all Sheila can do is hope that her courageous move might finally open the door for Finn and Steffy to let her into their lives. Maybe her ex-husband, the disgraced Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), is making her conduct this experience on Liam. He's no stranger to medical malpractice. READ THIS: Is Grace behind Liam's decline on B&B? Finn can see that Grace is stressed out lately. He knows that she works most of the time, and her family has been through a lot. On top of that, she's been getting secret messages. It could be that Grace is being used as a pawn for some doctor's monetary gain. They want her to test this treatment so they can profit from it. B&B fans can tell that something is amiss from this storyline. Finn could find out what's really going on with Grace. He might learn that Liam isn't dying, which spells trouble for the hospital. They could be slapped with a lawsuit and medical malpractice claims. This will put Finn in a difficult spot since he is also friends with Grace and cares about her a lot. Steffy may have found her dream man in Finn on Bold and the Beautiful , but his relatives – birth mother, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), and recently revealed daughter, Luna – have been a bona fide nightmare, wreaking havoc on the couple's happy marriage. So far, Steffy's stood by her man determined to make the relationship work; her love for Finn trumping all else. However, that could change now that crazy Luna has set her psychotic sights on Steffy and Finn's son, Hayes. And it might be the finally straw that pushes Steffy back into Liam's arms. As time goes on Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bound to realize that a life with Finn (Tanner Novlan)is a life of constant danger, particularly where Luna (Lisa Yamada)is concerned. The troubled young woman, who's already kidnapped Steffy and murdered Tom and Hollis, blames Steffy for keeping Finn from welcoming her into his life with open arms. Luna's refuses to accept that her own criminal actions have forced Finn to turn his back on her. Yet, despite Finn's steadfast intentions and devotion to his wife and kids, his psychotic daughter continues to pose a severe threat to them. If and when Luna strikes again and possibly puts Hayes in harm's way, Steffy could find herself with a very difficult decision to make. She may be forced to come to the realization that despite her deep love for Finn, his family ties are lethal, and the only way she can truly lead a safe life and provide one for her children is by separating herself from him.
