Tax extension offered to individuals and businesses affected by Ruidoso floods
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) — The Taxation and Revenue Department is offering a deadline extension for taxpayers who have been impacted by the Ruidoso floods in Lincoln County. Various business tax returns with the normal due dates of July 25 and Aug. 25 can now be filed by Oct. 27 without penalty.

State law does not allow the department to waive interest. To expedite the process, forms or letters can be emailed to the following addresses:
