Amazon beats Samsung with £211 discount on The Frame smart TV

The discounted Samsung television doubles up as a photo frame, displaying artwork and photos when not in use Hidden within Amazon's Tech Week Sale deal pages is the sleek Samsung The Frame Smart TV which doubles up as a photo frame, allowing users to display artwork or their own photos when they're not watching their favourite shows. The online giant is now offering the 32-inch OLED display television with a 38% discount, bringing the price down from £549 to £338. This sale price is the cheapest around, with the device costing £449 when bought directly from Samsung, while John Lewis is selling it for £429. The Frame Smart TV, which comes in sizes ranging from 32-inch to 85-inch, is glare-free thanks to its 'ground-breaking' matte display that absorbs reflections. The television's matte display ensures that users will have the best possible viewing experience without any distractions, even in bright light. The Bluetooth TV comes with a remote control and uses Object Tracking Sound LITE, which aims to enhance the viewing experience by making sound seem more realistic and directional. Users can choose which of the TV's front speakers the sound comes through, depending on where the action is happening on screen. That's not all, as the television also features Art Mode; instead of turning into a black screen, The Frame transforms into a showcase of artwork and photography when it's turned off, allowing the TV to become part of the décor. There are over 2,000 works of art to choose from on the Samsung Art Store, or viewers can upload their own photos to display cherished memories. The Frame Smart TV is powered by Quantum Dot, which allows viewers to see whatever they watch come to life 'with greater detail and realism'. Samsung says 'the sky is brighter, the grass is greener, and the details are clearer'. There are many other 32-inch smart televisions on the market, however, none offer Samsung's sleek photo frame design and artwork features. Argos is selling the LG 32 Inch Smart FHD HDR LED Freeview TV for £149.99 which features a sharp Full HD display, smart processor and immersive sound through AI Sound technology. A more budget-friendly option is the TCL 32-inch Smart Frameless Full HD LED Roku TV that is currently on sale at Very for £109. It offers many streaming options, full HD HDR picture quality and DOLBY Audio. Samsung's The Frame Smart TV has earned an overall rating of 4.2 out of five stars from 119 reviewers. One delighted customer commented: "I can't believe the quality of this television. It's beautifully designed with a great image quality. I love how it comes with its ultra slim bracket meaning it genuinely sits flush on the wall. Because it's a 'frame' TV, it also comes with a lovely Art feature where standby actually displays artwork. "The matte display makes it look just like a picture on your wall. You can also select whether you want it to be a mounted picture or unmounted, just like a frame. As for television, it is of good quality and has a beautiful picture quality and deep, rich sound. It's certainly a bit more pricey for the size, but you won't be disappointed." "Fabulous way to display my artwork," wrote a second happy buyer. "Having a perfectly lit slideshow provides entertainment all day long. The tech has improved since I bought my first Frame six years ago. Setting up was so easy and painless, we were up and running in minutes. Now the fun of choosing my favourite pieces to share on my new Frame." Unfortunately, one Amazon customer wasn't completely satisfied with The Frame Smart TV, as they explained: "I was disappointed with this TV. The picture quality is poor compared to other TVs I've had, including much cheaper models. It constantly loses channels, saying they no longer exist, yet my other TV picks up all the channels no problem, off the same aerial. The sound quality is good, I'll admit that." Someone else, however, was left impressed, as their detailed five-star review concludes: " Samsung The Frame is not just a television; it's a fusion of art and technology that elevates the viewing experience to new heights. Its combination of stunning visuals, smart features, elegant design, and eco-friendly operation makes it an exceptional choice for anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment system. A well-earned five stars for this innovative and stylish masterpiece from Samsung."

Amazon shoppers say these earphones cheaper than AirPods are 'the best' for fitness

The Soundcore earbuds have been cut in Amazon's Tech Week Sale Summer is on the horizon, and if shoppers are on a fitness push before their holiday, these earbuds could be worth looking at. The Soundcore V20i are a pair of earphones that are ideal for runs - or even jobs around the house - at a price of £30. That's thanks to Amazon's price drop, the pair usually retails for £50, but shoppers can get the £20 saving this week. The pair of open-ear earphones has a decent connection and clear playback. They also easily rotate, which helps listeners find the best fit for their ears. The V20i open-ear earbuds offer boosted stability and comfort, so users can listen and move freely throughout the day. Fitness fans can also enjoy clear calls with four mics and an AI algorithm, meaning the V20i open-ear headphones ensure crisp and clear calls wherever they are. One important thing to note is that the V20i are open-ear earphones, meaning there's no noise-cancelling, which could be a downside to anyone looking to use the pair on a noisy commute, for example. Alternatively, shoppers can pick up the JBL Tune Beam Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Earbuds in black for £79.99 from Currys. However, consumers looking for a product with a higher price tag and better quality than both the Anker and JBL options can consider the Apple AirPods Pro 2, which are now £219 at Amazon. Shoppers have also been raving over the Soundcore earbuds during reviews. One shopper said: "Wow, I love these headphones, I have a couple of wireless in-ear buds, but these are just so much better. "I wear glasses, fit is no problem, very comfortable, and the sound is so much better than I thought possible for this type of unit. "In use, you have really good awareness of everything around you, you can have a conversation with them and hear traffic as you walk. "The best earphones I've had. My daughter used them on a run, and now she has a pair as well. Unbeatable price for what you get, app is easy to use and you can easily configure the ear tap response for prev, next, and volume." Another shopper said: "Good sound with these earphones. There's a range of sound options in the Soundcore app, they are safer to use on the go as you can hear what's going on around you unlike the in the ear earphones which block out external sound, very easy to set up with the app". However, not everyone was pleased. Some complained about the comfort on their ears. One shopper added: "Average on comfort and clip style. Not bad but slightly uncomfortable for my ears. Fit is always subjective. However still keeping it as it's ok."
