Music star Teddy Swims becomes a dad
Teddy Swims has become a dad. The 32-year-old music star has revealed via social media that his girlfriend, Raiche Wright, gave birth to a baby boy on Monday (23.06.25). Alongside a series of black-and-white images of their newborn son, Teddy and Raiche said in a joint Instagram post: "6.23.25 We love you lil man (sic)" Raiche also took to her Instagram Story to express her happiness. She wrote: "He's perfect and my heart is exploding! [heart and rose emojis] (sic)" The loved-up couple actually announced their pregnancy via a social media post in January. At the time, they posted a shot of themselves on a beach, with Teddy cradling Raiche's baby bump. They captioned the image: "We can't wait to meet you baby [heart and stars emojis] (sic)" Teddy subsequently discussed their pregnancy during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The music star first suspected something when they were leaving Austin City Limits and they noticed something unusual. He explained: "She was complaining of things that we thought were period symptoms. And I was like, these have been going on for a while, maybe we should check this out. "And so we're in our hotel the next day, I don't remember where we're off. And weirdly, as we're driving through Austin, she'd never been to a Buc-ee's before, which is my favourite place in the whole world. And so I was like, you gotta go. Half my wardrobe is Buc-ee's." The couple actually bought some adult onsies and went to eat at Chili's, the restaurant chain, before Raiche took a pregnancy test. Teddy remembered that they were both "freaking out" after Raiche returned a positive pregnancy test. He recalled: "We're eating Chili's in our onesies, we go home and we do the test. We do like three of them and it's like, immediately yes you're pregnant. And so we're freaking out, we're finding this out in our Buc-ee's. Until we find a name, we're just calling boy or girl 'Baby Buc-ee.' I'm going to call it Buc-ee, I don't care what the name is."

Unexpected breakthrough for Barney and Zack in EastEnders
Zack Hudson (James Farrar) might finally be able to form a bond with his son Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) in EastEnders. Last month, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) discovered that his wife Nicola (Laura Doddington) had an affair with Zack 16 years ago, and she fell pregnant. Their eldest son Harry (Elijah Holloway) was left reeling from the news, and decided to kidnap Zack – bundling him into the boot of a car and driving off into the woods. Although Teddy was furious, he didn't want anything bad to happen and charged after them both. In a dramatic turn of events, a dazed and confused Zack distracted Teddy behind the wheel and the car went plunging into some icy waters. It really didn't seem like anyone would make it out alive. Teddy stumbled onto the riverbank, while Zack was presumed dead. Luckily, he survived, but was in for a further amount of heartbreak when Barney decided that he didn't want a relationship with him. Nicola has since tried to gloss over the situation – this week hosting a Half-Christmas celebration to try and distract her stressed and broken teenage son. Harry was less than enthusiastic about the festivities, and decided to invite Zack along, telling him that Barney was hopeful of his attendance. Blissfully unaware that this was just a giant fib, Zack wandered in to No. 1 in tonight's episode with a gift for his son. Nicola ordered him out, but Teddy remained silent. Mortified by the reception, Zack left, but told Barney that he would forever be there should he need him. Later, an emotional Barns' headed to the cafe, where Teddy sat down for a heart to heart. ‘Big' Sam Young set to open old-school Chinese restaurant
Sydney chef 'Big' Sam Young, who operates the attention-grabbing S'more bistro on the north shore and boasts a substantial social media following, is set to open an old-school Chinese restaurant at Potts Point. Young and his long-term partner, talented chef Grace Chen, confirmed the site they've zeroed in on is well-known Sydney dining turf: the current home of Teddy, on leafy Kellett Street. The owners of Ezra restaurant next door opened Teddy last September after briefly operating Raja, an upmarket Indian restaurant, at the site. It's familiar territory for Young, who cut his teeth at nearby Merivale venues Lotus and Ms.G's, before breaking out on their own during the pandemic, segueing into takeaway meals, indulgent pop-ups and their Castlecrag start-up. The venture would be 'old-school Chinese, probably more suburban [in style],' Young said, echoing a job advertisement he recently placed looking to recruit chefs.
