Singapore's Trident Nears Digitization Deal with Congo Government

Democratic Republic of Congo signed a preliminary accord with a unit of Singapore's Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd. to develop a national digital identity and e-government system. Nasdaq-listed Trident will work with the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs to reach a definitive agreement to provide secure access to government services, the company said in an emailed statement Wednesday.
