With no pedestrians and no pressure, Sobhita is said to have completely enjoyed her driving so much so that she didn't want to stop. The actors who had been dating for a while decided to make it official with an intimate ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Naga Chaitanya's professional front Coming to Naga Chaitanya's work front, the actor was last seen in a leading role in the film Thandel. The Telugu-language romantic action thriller featured the story of Raju, a brave fisherman who accidentally enters Pakistani waters. The movie, which focuses on the man's passion towards fishing and the love of his life, Sathya aka Bujji. Thandel featured Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles with Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and many more in key parts. The film was based on a real-life incident that happened to a fisherman from Srikakulam. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix. Moving ahead, the actor will next appear in the lead role for the tentatively titled NC24. The film is helmed by Virupaksha director Karthik Varma Dandu and will feature Chay as a treasure hunter.

Raid, starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, hit the big screens on March 16, 2018. Following the success of the crime thriller, it was remade in Telugu as Mr Bachchan, with Ravi Teja headlining the remake. If you haven't watched both films, here's a quick recap on both of them and how different they are from one another. What is Ajay Devgn starrer Raid's story? Raid features the story of Amay Patnaik, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer who gets transferred to Lucknow along with his wife, Malini. One fateful day, he receives an anonymous tip about black money hoarded by Rameshwar Singh. With Singh managing to evade income tax raids for many years owing to his power and influence, Amay and his team decide to conduct the raid after careful planning. Despite opposition from Rameshwar Singh, Amay begins his raid, searching every nook and cranny of his residence. A frustrated Rameshwar seeks help from the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, but Patnaik doesn't back down, highlighting how he comes under the jurisdiction of the Central government. With no avail, Singh even meets the Prime Minister of India, where a calm and calculated Amay responds that he'll stop the raid only if an official order is faxed to him. Fearing the media debacle, the PM doubles down. With no option left, Rameshwar Singh threatens Malini's life, which makes Amay furious, but he quickly composes himself. With a final battle being faced by the team, Singh is eventually defeated and arrested with the help of the Special Police Force. How does Mr Bachchan differ? Mr Bachchan, starring Ravi Teja in the lead, takes a more commercial treatment to the story, straying away from the original movie's subtle tone. With more focus on action, the protagonist Anand (aka Mr Bachchan) is a tough Income Tax Officer who is daring enough to take on anyone. Owing to his nature, he gets suspended, which is when he goes back to his hometown and falls in love with Jikki. The first half of the Telugu-language movie narrates how Mr Bachchan tries to woo the girl, who eventually becomes his lover. Coming to the second half, the actual raid starts at the home of Mutyam Jaggayya. As the Harish Shankar directorial crafts the protagonist to be more gleeful and humorous, it strays away from Amay Patnaik and his calm and calculated demeanor. As most actions conducted by Rameshwar Singh and Mutyam Jaggayya are similar, Mr Bachchan ends with a stereotypical fight of one man saving the day.

Kannappa Makers Warn Of Legal Action Against Defamation And Misuse Ahead Of Films Release
The makers of Kannappa have issued a legal warning against defamation and trolling ahead of the film's June 2025 release. New Delhi: Kannappa, an upcoming Telugu-language mythological action film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Akshay Kumar, has landed in controversy following the release of its much-anticipated trailer. The film, based on the tale of devotion to Lord Shiva, has drawn criticism from certain quarters, with allegations that it "disrespects Brahmins." In response to the backlash, the film's producers have taken a strong stance, issuing a public notice warning of legal action against those who attempt to malign the film without justification. Misuse, distortion, or defamatory acts against the film or its stakeholders will be legally challenged." In a more detailed statement, the producers emphasised the film's fair production credentials, noting it has received all necessary certifications, intellectual property protections, and legal clearances. Defining the project as a 'culmination of immense artistic dedication, untiring efforts, and substantial commercial investment,' the notice urged the public to view the film before forming opinions. 'We thereby respectfully request all critiques to watch the film first, appreciate its substance, understand the intent and comment on it with responsibility, rather than succumbing to premeditated biases or vendetta-fuelled commentary,' the notice read. While acknowledging the constitutional right to free speech under Article 19(1)(a), the makers cited legal precedents, including judgments from the Kerala High Court, to argue that defamatory or destructive commentary aimed at damaging the reputation of creative works is not protected speech. The producers also highlighted a recent ruling by the Delhi High Court, which granted protection to the 'personality and publicity rights of two key stakeholders and principal actors of Kannappa, namely, Dr. Mohan Babu and Mr. Vishnu Manchu'. Any unauthorised use or defamatory portrayal of their likeness or attributes, the notice warned, could invite legal consequences under both the court's directives and applicable laws. Citing past disturbances during the film's production, the statement also warned that any unauthorised streaming or distribution of the film, in part or full, would lead to legal proceedings in civil, criminal, or cyber law jurisdictions.
