All the Best Prime Day Clothing and Shoe Deals, According to Our Experts

What we like: The best straight-leg women's jeans for lots of bodies. Versatile, comfy, booty-flattering, well made, and under $100. Available in a wide range of sizes and three inseams. 99% cotton and 1% elastane blend is structured but has enough give to fit comfortably on the first wear. Other things to know: Testers with more-defined waists found these jeans true to size; otherwise, consider sizing up. Deal available on select washes: Space to Think, Christina, and Neither Here Nor There. Free Red Tab membership required for free shipping. Read more: The Best Women's Jeans What we like: Our top pick for casual sandals with slim straps. Everything we love about the classic Tevas in a slightly more streamlined, stylish package. Still comes with EVA cushioning, arch support, Velcro straps, and treaded soles. Other things to know: Not as rugged as the originals. Only available in orange straps, neon-yellow straps, and blue straps with blue soles. Select store pickup, or get free shipping with REI membership (or by adding it to a larger order). Read more: The Best Sandals What we like: Our top-pick off-white sneakers with a breezy, vintage vibe. Made with mesh and suede. Have a slim, tapered shape. Ultra-light but still springy and supportive. Other things to know: Run narrow. Materials may be tricky to clean. Deal available on select colors and sizes. Select sale colors may have nylon uppers rather than mesh. Free New Balance membership required, price reflects in cart. Read more: The Best White Sneakers $258 $204 from Cuyana (small size) What we like: A smaller version of the best luxurious open-top leather tote bag. Elegant and lightweight. Easily transitions from casual outings to formal settings. Two sets of handles in different lengths to carry it multiple ways. Made from supple Italian leather. Other things to know: Smaller than our pick, but still big enough to fit what you need (including up to a 14-inch laptop). Unstructured, so it won't stand upright. No organization features aside from one internal pocket. Pricey, but it's a worthy investment. Two-year warranty. Use code WCSPECIAL. Read more: The Best Tote Bags $95 $67 from Everlane What we like: Our top pick for the best versatile, well-priced black minidress. Simple, fitted A-line cut looks great on lots of bodies. Soft, stretchy double-knit material is especially comfortable. A blank slate that you can layer and accessorize to suit many settings and climates. Other things to know: May be too simple for some tastes — though if you ask us, that's part of what makes it so versatile. Armholes are cut a bit deep, so a bra with higher sides may show. Might be too 'mini' if you're tall. Sizes XXS to XL, though limited sizes remain. Deal price includes $8 shipping. Read more: The Best Little Black Dresses What we like: The best small fanny pack with big personality. Good for stashing necessities like slim wallets, phones, and keys. Distinctive Pop Art aesthetic is a fashion flex. Wet-suit-like neoprene fabric keeps contents cushioned. Makes a statement without sacrificing fashion or function. Other things to know: Also makes a great gift. Puffy silhouette can be divisive. Very limited 1-liter capacity. Less water-resistant than most of our other picks. Exterior gets grubby-looking over time. Deal price available in red color and reflects in cart; taupe is $4 more. Free ScoreCard membership required for free shipping. Read more: The Best Fanny Packs What we like: Our pick for the best wide-leg jeans. Has a super-high rise and a wide, 11-inch leg that's dramatic yet not over the top. Come in three inseams. An exceptional value. Other things to know: Run a bit large in the waist. Will likely stretch. Available in multiple washes and sizes. Add two pairs of jeans to your cart to get the deal price. Sign up for a free Red Tab membership for free shipping. Read more: The Best Women's Jeans What we like: Low-stretch men's jeans worth considering with a nice, in-between leg width. Well made and durable, with an appealing shape and fit. (They were one panelist's favorite.) A good Goldilocks cut (not too slim, not too wide), with some stretch for comfort. Other things to know: Ultimately, this pair was just barely edged out by our pick from Madewell, which has softer denim and a cut that appealed to more testers. Sizes 28 to 42. Deal is for On Good Terms (medium stretch) wash. Ships free with free Red Tab membership. Read more: The Best Men's Jeans $85 $42 from Athleta Price reflects in cart (deal on navy or black) What we like: The best leggings for a flare leg that's workout-friendly. Soft and smooth but also substantial and built for real workouts. Properly high waistband doesn't pinch. Leggings come in three lengths. Back waistband has a drop-in pocket about 8 inches wide. Other things to know: Not as ideal as traditional leggings for activities like running. Deal on navy or black but some sizes are out of stock. Price reflects in cart. Read more: The Best Leggings for Workouts and Everyday Wear $97 $49 from Zappos (deal on dark blue heather) What we like: The best splurge-worthy and comfortable leggings. Delightful for low-impact workouts and lounging. Luxe fabric, with a suede-like texture and subtly heathered finish. Stretchy instead of structured. Light compression. Other things to know: Very body-conscious fit, even for leggings. One tester (XS) likened them to "sausage casing" while two others (XXL and S) said they fit "perfectly," so it may vary. No pockets. 24-inch inseam. Sizes XS to XL. Deal on celestial blue heather. Read more: The Best Leggings for Workouts and Everyday Wear What we like: The best men's pajama set in playful patterns for gifting or treating yourself. Smartly tailored cotton jammies. Come in a whimsical, wish-list-worthy array of patterns, stripes, and prints. Sharp cut and smooth woven cotton fabric that gets softer with time. Other things to know: Pricey. Tailored, tapered cut of the pants isn't for everyone. Check the size chart carefully, as one panelist found that his Henry top (size L, Skier Jacquard) ran notably large and wide, while two others (both size M, Red Breton Stripe and Marine Stripe) felt their sets were true to size. Price reflects in cart and includes shipping. Use code HEATWAVE for deal price. Final sale. Read more: The Best Pajamas $268 $134 from Naadam Use promo code WIRECUTTER What we like: A luxurious cashmere sweater dress we love from our guide to the best little black dresses. Also comes in tan and brown. Made from soft, high-quality cashmere. Warm but breathable and feels like wearing a cloud. Other things to know: Petite folks might find it runs long. Use code WIRECUTTER to get the deal price and free shipping. Read more: The Best Little Black Dresses $30 $23 from Amazon What we like: The best affordable shapewear bodysuit for gentle everyday smoothing. This stretchy bodysuit offers subtle shaping and smoothing rather than serious structure and support. Other things to know: Camisole style works as a layering piece or even on its own — but it doesn't have a built-in bra. Read more: The Best Shapewear $31 $24 from Amazon What we like: Another good pair of flip-flops worth considering if you want inexpensive flip-flops with a modern square toe. Waterproof, with cushiony footbeds and grippy rubber soles. Chic spin on the brands classic design, updated with a square toe and slimmer straps Other things to know: May experience an unpleasant break-in period (as with all rubber flip-flops) as you get used to the straps rubbing between your toes. Come in U.S. women's sizes 6 to 12 and in three colors. Deal on pink color. Read more: The Best Sandals $55 $41 from American Eagle What we like: The best reasonably priced leggings for low-impact workouts and lounging. Lightweight, super soft, and stretchy. Well-priced and ultra-comfy for all-day wear. Gently compressive and feel nice to the touch. Good for lighter-impact activities or lounging. Three small waistband pockets. Other things to know: Don't look or feel quite as sophisticated as our other picks. Fabric is a touch warm, and certain colors (particularly light colors) shows moisture readily. Available in most sizes, ranging from sizes XXS (000) to XXL (20) and three lengths (24¾ inches, 26¾ inches, or 28¾ inches). Nowhere near as good as the deals we saw during October Prime Day and Black Friday, but a decent sale if you want these leggings now. Select store pickup to avoid shipping fees. Read more: The Best Leggings for Workouts and Everyday Wear What we like: A variant of the best unisex cotton pajamas for a long-johns fit if you like Bluey. These PJs are fun for the whole family with many of the prints coming in adult and children's versions. The fit is body-hugging but not clingy. Made from a super-substantial cotton, which helps them retain their shape and vibrant colors. Other things to know: The unisex PJs follow traditional men's sizing; roomier cut, longer sleeve and inseam. Generous 60-day return period. Prints and patterns change constantly, and once they sell out, they're usually gone for good. Free Hanna Rewards account required. Read more: The Best Pajamas

How Fashion Girls Are Glamping in Style This Summer

As much as I love summer in the city, this time of year always has me itching to get outside—and by that, I mean beyond a few hours in the park. Maybe it's the nostalgia of driving off to weekend getaways with my friends to pitch a tent, or the simple fact that I grew up a summer camp brat, but I can't deny the bliss of unplugging from the world for a few days to breathe in the fresh air and stargaze at night—plus, I love s'mores. That said, if you're just getting acquainted with the outdoor lifestyle, figuring out what to pack to go camping—or even glamping—can feel a little daunting. There are so many directions you could go in terms of gear (hiking, climbing, fishing, what have you), let alone the basics. Luckily, as a former gear editor, I'm one to geek out about gadgets as much as I am about my favorite fashion, which means that I'm not only sharing the pieces that will make your experience seamless, but also the ones that exude luxury, too (I am a fashion girl, after all). So, without further ado, here's your ELLE editor-approved guide for everything you need to make your nature-filled getaway the best (and most stylish) it can be. When it comes to the great outdoors, a lot of the experience leans on the gear you bring—and yes, that includes what you wear. While you could throw on your favorite T-shirt and shorts, having clothes designed to withstand the elements will make all the difference. Ripstop nylon and dedicated hiking socks will be your new best friends, and be sure to pack some warmer layers for when the nights cool down. As for the fashion editor-approved twist? A paracord necklace will be a chic and playful touch. And if you're looking to record your latest AllTrails hike, a sleek smartwatch will do the job in style. No matter what you have planned, having the right footwear is essential, which is why it gets its own section. You'll need hiking shoes to take on various terrains and recovery sandals to slip on after, but might I suggest an easy pair for those more laid-back moments? I never go camping without my Birkenstock slides, but if you want something a little sleeker, you can also opt for the Olsen Twin-approved Tevas, which will look just as good with your camping outfits as they will on the city streets. I love designer luggage as much as the next girl, but camping calls for bags that can handle the elements. One staple that I've had in my arsenal since college is the North Face Base Camp Voyager Duffel. This thing has been through the wringer and is still going strong—make of that what you will. Of course, a dedicated option for backpacking won't hurt either, especially if you're planning a big trek. I also recommend having separate bags for your tech and toiletries, just to keep everything organized. Personally, there's nothing I love more than car camping. Sure, backpacking has its perks—secluded areas and jaw-dropping views, to name two—but it's certainly not for the faint of heart. Car camping allows you stock more than just the bare essentials, especially if you have a roof box for extra cargo (I'm partial to these options from Thule). Now, if you're aiming for comfort, then you deserve a proper chair. Gone are the days of sitting on a picnic blanket to snack on cold cuts! Plus, with a cooler and a stove, you can cook fresh meals daily—and it doesn't get more al fresco than that. And if this is my road trip, I'm also bringing a French press. In my humble opinion, there's nothing quite like sipping fresh coffee while you watch the sunrise. Once you're settled in, it's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself. Camping is the perfect excuse to silence those push notifications and spend quality time with Mother Nature. And let's be honest: You simply can't go camping without s'mores—especially when you have a tabletop firepit (very handy when a traditional one isn't nearby). Set the mood with string lights and your go-to summer playlist. And if you're feeling techy, a portable projector can transform your campsite into a movie theater. Cap it all off with deep, late-night conversations beneath the stars, and you're set. That's outdoor luxury at its finest.
