Fadnavis reviews works of various 'Mahapreet' projects
Mumbai, July 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today directed that the subsidiary of Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (Mahapreet) should prioritise and complete long-term projects considering future challenges.
A review of various projects of Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (Mahapreet), which comes under the Mahatma Phule Backward Classes Development Corporation of the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, was held at Vidhan Bhavan under the chairmanship Fadnavis.
In today's meeting, he reviewed projects like Thane Cluster Development Project, Software Technology and Data Centre Project, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation, Slum Rehabilitation Project, Rooftop Solar Project for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Solar/Hybrid Project with NTPC Green, Solar Power Project to be set up in joint partnership of NTPC Green, NIRL, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), District Cooling System Project, Setting up of Solar Project in the premises of National Cancer Institute in Nagpur, Establishment of Integrated Command and Control Centre for Pune Municipal Corporation, Redevelopment of Mahalaxmi Temple and surrounding areas and others.
Fadnavis also directed that slum rehabilitation projects should be completed at a fast pace.
Instead of working in all sectors, experts should be developed and work should be concentrated only in those specific sectors, he added.
