When I was a kid in the late 70s and early 80s, Irish households had two demons on board. Both had us walking on eggshells.
Small Beelzebub lived in the house with us, with his one red eye peeping out of a cupboard on the landing. This one had the power of possession, mainly over Dad. And with alarming results. It was called 'The Immersion'. But sometimes, he had more elaborate and frightful names like 'Bloody Immersion' or 'That F**king Immersion!!'
