Georgia Love sends telling message to ex-husband Lee Elliott following their shock split
Georgia Love has shared a very telling message with ex-husband Lee Elliott following their shock split after nine years together - four years of which were in matrimony. The Bachelorette star, 35, shared a mirror selfie to her Instagram Stories on Friday as as she stood in the elevator of Madison Grand in Southbank, Victoria. She cradled a bouquet of flowers in one arm an added the iconic breakup son Flowers by Miley Cyrus to the post. The captions over the photo read out the well-known lyrics of the song. 'I can buy myself flowers. Write my name in the sand. Talk to myself for hours. Say things you don't understand,' the song went. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The brutal message comes after Georgia and Lee sold their Melbourne home and earned a big payday at the auction. Georgia and Lee, 43, who met on The Bachelorette Australia in 2016, put their home on the market a few months after announcing their split earlier this year. The former couple's four bedroom home in Hampton East went under the hammer last Saturday. Their property passed in on a $1.53 million bid after being listed with a $1.5 million to $1.58 million price expectations. However, over the weekend, post-auction negotiations ended with the sale of the home for an undisclosed amount. The pair paid an estimated $1.35 million for the chic, ultra-modern, two-storey townhouse in 2021. It can then be assumed the former couple pocketed at least $180,000 from the sale. Georgia and Lee may have shocked fans with their split, but at the auction there appeared to be no bad blood between them. The former couple looked very friendly with each other as they attended the auction of their Hampton East 'love nest' in Victoria. They had plenty to be happy about, as the 'SOLD' sticker outside their marital home proved they managed to offload the $1.35 million property. The exes were all smiles as they then went out to a local café together to celebrate the sale. Located 17km from the CBD in the upmarket Bayside area, the property boasts a thoughtful open-plan layout and an alfresco dining area with a BBQ kitchen. Highlights include a main bedroom with a private balcony, a fitted dressing room, and a dual-vanity ensuite. Design features include double-glazed windows and doors, Caesarstone benchtops, Tasmanian oak flooring, hydronic heating, and reverse-cycle air conditioning. Georgia and Lee fuelled rumours they had split for some time, as it had been more than four months since they were seen together. The pair spent Christmas apart with their respective families before Georgia jetted off to New York City for a holiday without Lee. They were also both spotted without their wedding bands, which led to a wave of speculation online suggesting they had ended their relationship.

Georgia Love and Lee Elliot offload marital home for $1.58 million after split
Loading content... After announcing their split earlier this year, Georgia Love and Lee Elliot have sold their Melbourne townhouse. The estranged couple, who met on the 2016 season of Channel 10's The Bachelorette, took the property at 63a Wickham Road to auction on June 21. The four-bedroom house in Hampton East had an auction guide of $1.5 million to $1.58 million. It was listed with Hodges Real Estate Sandringham agents Angus Graham and Jack Rayner. The property passed in at auction, but was sold after negotiations for an undisclosed price. Cotality records indicate the property sold in the vicinity of $1.58 million, earning the former couple a tidy profit of around $230,000. Radio host Love, 35, and Elliot, 43, purchased the property in October 2021 for $1.35 million, six months after their wedding in Tasmania. It appears there is no bad blood between the pair who attended the auction together and were spotted celebrating the sale afterwards at a nearby cafe. The sale follows a joint announcement from Love and Elliot posted on social media in February confirming the end of their four-year marriage. "After nine wonderful years together, including four as husband and wife, [we] have made the incredibly difficult decision to lovingly part ways," the post read. "Our relationship has been so special and we will always cherish the memories, love, and laughter we've shared. "There is no drama, no bad blood. Just two people who have grown in different directions while still holding deep respect and care for each other. "We remain friends and we'd really appreciate our privacy as we navigate this next stage. Thank you". According to Cotality, the median price of a house in Hampton East is $831,000. Less than 20 kilometres from Melbourne CBD, Lee and Elliot's marital home included four bedrooms, three bathrooms and an expansive open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The vast master bedroom occupied almost half of the top floor, including a dressing room, a dual vanity ensuite with a freestanding bathtub and a private balcony. Two additional bedrooms were on the top floor, plus a main bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. A fourth bedroom on the ground floor could be utilised as a study. A pergola-shaded alfresco area accessed via a wall of bi-fold doors from the living room was designed for entertaining. The alfresco zone included a plumbed outdoor kitchen equipped with Siemens appliances, a drinks fridge, a sink and a barbecue. Other property features included solid Tasmanian Oak floors, wool carpets, heated towel rails, reverse-cycle air-conditioning and double-glazed windows.

Bachelorette Australia: Georgia Love and Lee Elliott bid farewell
Georgia Love and Lee Elliott in Melbourne. Picture:. Bachelorette Australia ex-couple Georgia Love and Lee Elliott's Melbourne house sold under the hammer on the weekend. An action-packed auction weekend also saw a Seaford house with a six-figure asking range unexpectedly change hands for more than $1m. Ms Love, an Australian Radio Network newsreader, and Mr Lee put their home at 63A Wickham Rd, Hampton East, on the market following their February break-up. RELATED: The Bachelor's Snezana and Sam Wood's $6.6m price hopes for Elsternwick pad 'Hectic' bidding war pushes Hampton East home $268k over reserve Hampton abode sells for hundreds of thousands above its price hopes at auction The couple met on the The Bachelorette's 2016 season and had been married for four years. On Saturday, their four-bedroom property passed in on a $1.53m bid after being listed with $1.5m-$1.58m price hopes. But Hodges Sandringham director Angus Graham said that the property sold during post-auction negotiations for an undisclosed sum. In the city's south east, a four-bedroom house at 4 Lexton Court, Seaford, advertised for $840,000-$880,000 shocked Ray White director Shane O'Sughrue with a 'cracker' result. The deck has a fully-plumbed barbecue kitchen. The partially-renovated abode fetched $1,136,500. 'The reserve was $880,000 and it went off its head,' Mr O'Sughrue. 'Basically, there was 100 people in the crowd, eight bidders registered and five who actually took part.' He was 'blown away by the competitive bidding' which saw the house snapped up by a family. 'I haven't seen anything like it this quarter,' Mr O'Sughrue added, although he noted it was rare to find a four-bedroom house in that particular pocket of Seaford. 'There was nothing fancy about, we just styled it and put some curtains in it,' he said. 'It definitely exceeded my expectations and the vendors' expectations.' 4 Lexton Court, Seaford, sold for more than $1.13m. The kitchen is fitted with a freestanding 900mm Westinghouse gas cooktop and electric oven, wooden benchtops and a breakfast bar. Another property that outperformed predictions was a Victorian-era house at 47 Donald St, Prahran. Industry sources indicated the residence sold for $3.28m after being listed with $2.2m-$2.4m price hopes. However, Jellis Craig partner David Sciola said the reserve was set at $2.4m with the sales price undisclosed. Mr Sciola said the two bidders consisted of a local investor and previous tenant who was emotionally connected to the residence, with both buyers 'very motivated to secure the property'. 'It was a very competitive, out-of-the box result for a three-bedroom, one bathroom period home that was very charming and unique, and had a quirky renovation done in the '90s,' Mr Sciola said. 47 Donald St, Prahran, features an iron lace veranda and brick facade, leadlight windows and a cathedral ceiling and clerestory turret in the living area. The marble-fitted kitchen with a walk-in wardrobe and dual butler's pantry and laundry area. In Cheltenham, eight bidders were in the mix for a two-bedroom townhouse at 7 Ward St. Ray White The Bayside Group's Trevor Bowen said a crowed of more than 100 people gathered to watch the auction. The townhouse was placed on the market at the $850,000 second bid, which met the reserve. Set on 256sq m, the home sold for $1.065m, a sum $215,000 above the reserve. 'The winning bidders were a downsizing couple from Endeavour Hills, accompanied by their son on the day,' Mr Bowen said. According to PropTrack, Victoria achieved a preliminary 70.2 per cent clearance rate from 510 early auction results this week. Sign up to the Herald Sun Weekly Real Estate Update.
