WWE Raw Results: Roman Reigns And Jey Uso Reunite, Latino World Order Wins & More

Last Updated: Here's how this week's Monday Night Raw shaped up. In the latest episode of WWE Raw, which was streamed live from Houston, Texas, on Monday, July 21, Roman Reigns made his first appearance since his surprise return to the WWE scene after a prolonged break last week. The fans were also glued to the Women's Tag Team Championship Match and an intense No. 1 Contender Triple Threat Match, apart from other exciting battles. Here's how this week's Monday Night Raw shaped up. Roman Reigns Appearance We inched one step closer to the much-anticipated SummerSlam Tag Team battle between the Reigns-Uso pairing and Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker with a thrilling closing segment, where Reigns made his first appearance after a surprise return to the scene last week. Despite the numbers disadvantage, Reigns stood tall against the trio of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The four wrestlers jeered each other before the verbal feud escalated into a physical altercation. Just as Reigns appeared to be outnumbered, Uso arrived and rescued the former Tribal Chief. Sheamus vs. Rusev Reigniting their action-packed rivalry, Sheamus battled out a men's singles contest against Rusev. It was a rematch of their encounter a few weeks earlier. The fans were captivated by the intense exchange between the two wrestlers in the middle of the match. In the dying moments, however, Sheamus came out triumphant after delivering his finisher. LWO Hammer, New Day, and The Creed Brothers Executing a pinfall, LWO won the No. 1 contender triple-threat tag team match against New Day and The Creed Brothers after Joaquin Wilde rolled up Kofi Kingston. The match saw an interruption from El Grande Americano, who ran in to attack Dragon Lee at the ringside before Creed told him to leave. Soon, however, Wilde ended the showdown by executing the schoolboy pin. Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c) vs Bayley & Lyra Valkyria A highly competitive Women's Tag Team Championship match saw Rodriguez and Perez team up against Bayley and Valkyria. The intense but chaotic battle saw multiple interruptions from Dominik Mysterio, who was eventually kicked out by Rodriguez. Even AJ Styles appeared as a medic attempting to revive Mysterio. An interruption also helped the Rodriguez and Perez duo after Becky Lynch ran in and took out Valkyria. The duo then overcame Bayley and retained their tag team titles. Karrion Kross vs Sami Zayn Karrion Kross' exciting duel with Sami Zayn saw the two wrestlers land heavy moves on each other before Kross came out victorious after hitting Zayn in the ribs with a steel pipe. Kross maximised help from Scarlett, who had attempted to hand Kross the pipe earlier in the match. He then executed the pinfall for the winning moment. Stephanie Vaquer vs Iyo Sky In what could've been a thrilling battle, the Vaquer-Sky match had to be disqualified, with Vaquer declared the winner, after interference by Chelsea Green. As the Secret Service came to the ring to distract Vaquer, Green attacked from behind. Sky and Vaquer then managed to toss the group outside the ring to resume their clash. However, Naomi attacked Sky from behind. Rhea Ripley's music started buzzing inside the arena as she attacked Naomi before Vaquer and Sky combined to hit Green. WWE loads up Raw ahead of SummerSlam with Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch

With just two episodes of Raw remaining before SummerSlam, WWE is loading up this Monday's show with big matches and even bigger stars ahead of its two-night blockbuster. So far, WWE has announced three intriguing matches and three key segments. Roman Reigns is set to appear live at Houston's Toyota Center with something to say. After returning last week and laying waste to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Reigns is expected to address his former 'Wiseman,' Paul Heyman, who turned on Reigns and aligned with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41. Reigns' SummerSlam plans should come into focus this Monday. Rumors point to a one-on-one showdown with Breakker — a 'battle of the spears' between two stars in their prime. If that's the case, it would mark only Reigns' third singles match in the past 19 months, a testament to how highly WWE regards Breakker. As questions remain over the meaning of Reigns' apparent new nickname, OTC1, WWE continues to promote him as the Original Tribal Chief, or OTC. In its Raw preview, WWE teased: 'The OTC is set to address his one-time Special Counsel, Paul Heyman.' If anyone can make the treacherous Heyman pay, 'Only The Chosen 1' is the man to do it. Elsewhere, CM Punk will speak on his upcoming World Title match at SummerSlam against Gunther. The only question is how long he'll get to talk before 'The Ring General' makes his presence felt. Lyra Valkyria became the No. 1 contender for the Women's Intercontinental Title by defeating Bayley in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match last week. Champion Becky Lynch reportedly has a 'proposal' for Valkyria before they meet at WWE's summer classic. Considering Valkyria is already betrothed, it's safe to assume it's not that kind of proposal. In action Monday is Sheamus, who looks to redeem himself against Rusev after losing to the Bulgarian Brute in a brutal battle last month. Sami Zayn finally gets his shot at Karrion Kross, and the next contenders for Judgment Day's tag team titles will be determined in a Triple Threat match between The LWO, The Creed Brothers, and The New Day. Soon after, Heyman marked his entry to the ring and was joined by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. After a few verbal attacks, Rollins fired back at Punk. But Punk ensured that Rollins will 'never be champion" till the time he stands in the ring. Thereafter, things turned physical as Rollins and Breakker started attacking Punk, before he was joined by Sami Zayn. Jey Uso also marked his presence to attack Rollins and his partners. Live Events Penta vs Chad Gable Penta faced the Mexican Destroyer for a singles match on Raw this week. Both the challengers showed off impressive in-ring action, before Penta took the upper hand as he hit Gable off the middle rope. This was followed by a pinfall that ended the game in Penta's favour. Even Pat McAfee stated that he considered himself lucky to have witnessed the ECW era. AJ Styles vs Finn Balor The former Bullet Club leaders took on each other in a major showdown. In the end, Styles hit Balor with the 'Phenomenal Forearm' and was declared the winner. Becky Lynch's segment Becky Lynch also marked her entry in the ring as she reminded WWE fans about how Lyra Valkyria was taken to hospital after their match at Backlash. Lynch then criticised the audience for allegedly turning their back on her once she got success.
