Openings/closings: Fashion Mall welcomes athleisure store; 2 neighborhood Walgreens close

As the heat bore down on Indianapolis residents in June, two new stores opened at The Fashion Mall at Keystone, one that sells athleisure wear and the other German designer clothing. Meanwhile, Fishers welcomed a bank that's new to the metro area and two Walgreens shuttered.

BOSS
BOSS opened at the Fashion Mall next to Abercrombie last month. The German designer brand sells high-end clothes for men and women.
Northwest Bank
11 Municipal Drive Suite 150, Fishers, opened June 17
Northwest Bank expanded into the Indianapolis metro area with a new branch at the growing Nickel Plate District in Fishers, the bank's first new location in six years. Northwest Bank operates 19 other branches across Indiana.
TravisMathew
Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing, opened June 30
TravisMathew, an active wear brand, opened at The Fashion Mall, bringing a dose of sunny California lifestyle to Indianapolis shoppers. The brand was established in Southern California and inspired by the area's lifestyle and culture. Find TravisMathew across from Banana Republic.

Walgreens
1505 E 86th St. and 5095 E. Thompson Road
Two Indianapolis Walgreens stores closed recently as the pharmacy giant plans to shutter around 1,200 underperforming stores nationwide over the next three years as part of a larger restructuring. The company has struggled with sluggish store sales and hopes the turnaround plan will stabilize the retail pharmaceutical industry.
