Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity to be available for streaming with subtitles for fans outside of Japan on this date; Check details
Netflix has announced it will stream the TV anime series
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
weekly in the U.S. and select regions outside Japan starting September 7, 2025. The announcement was made during the company's panel at Anime Expo 2025, where a new English-subtitled clip was also revealed.
The series will be released weekly with an English dub. Anime News Network confirmed that Netflix has listed the anime for a July 13, 2025 premiere in some Southeast Asian countries.
Clean versions of the opening and ending sequences have also been released on Aniplex Japan's official YouTube channel.

Miyuki Kuroki, known for Akebi's Sailor Uniform, is directing the anime series, with Satoshi Yamaguchi (character designer for When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace) serving as associate director. The series is being written by Rino Yamazaki (UniteUp!), with Haruka Tsuzuki (co-storyboarder and director of Episode 12 of Akebi's Sailor Uniform) as series unit director. Kohei Tokuoka (Miraiiro no Fuukei commercial) is handling character design and also serves as chief animation director, while Moeki Harada is composing the music. Animation production is being handled by CloverWorks.
