Jul 21, 2025 Ahmed El Fishawy has revealed the first poster for his upcoming film 'Safah El Tagamoa', a psychological crime drama directed and written by Mohamed Salah El Azab, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky. 'Safah El Tagamoa' is inspired by a real case that drew widespread attention in 2023, involving a series of murders in New Cairo that was uncovered following the disappearance of a young woman. In 2024, 37-year-old Karim Mohamed Selim was convicted of premeditated murder, assault and kidnapping after a trial that received global coverage. The film joins a wave of Arabic productions drawing from real-life crimes, including 'The Giza Killer' (2023) and 'Dark Minds' (2024).
