Overall, it has been well-received, earning a 4.1/5 score on Tripadvisor from 313 ratings. Another pub that had a lot of praise was The Flower Pots Inn, which is located in Cheriton. One reader shared: "The Flower Pots Cheriton. Beer brewed in the onsite brewery. Excellent food, drink and service at reasonable prices. Great outdoor area so very popular on sunny days." Known by regulars as 'The Pots', its website describes itself as having "a relaxed atmosphere for our customers to enjoy our own beer and locally sourced fresh food". It adds: "As a traditional country inn, we are dog, horse and bike friendly and look forward to seeing you soon." On Tripadvisor, it has earned a 4.1/5 score from 361 reviews. Meanwhile, in the New Forest, The Green Dragon in Brook has earned the favour of a few readers. One person wrote: "The Green Dragon at Brook lovely food and staff". According to its website, the pub dates back to the 15th century, originally being the premises for a wheelwright and a coffin maker before becoming a beer house. It has a well-served beer garden complete with a heated canopy, and it's said to be an ideal spot for a Sunday roast or "a rewarding pint after a forest walk". The Green Dragon has been well-rated on Tripadvisor, earning a 4.1/5 score from 1,009 reviews. The Wheatsheaf in Braishfield also had a few recommendations, which describes itself as a "traditional country pub set in the picturesque Hampshire countryside" on its website. Recommended reading: It adds that it is a dog-friendly spot that offers "a full dining menu with locally sourced fresh ingredients you'll love". Some places had a singular mention from a reader, such as the Hoddingham Arms in Upton Grey, which offers "an excellent choice for beautifully sourced and prepared food". Other places that got support from readers included The Royal Oak in Fritham and The Mayfly in Stockbridge.
