Meghan Markle Shares Adorable Tradition Started on Second Date With Prince Harry
THE RUNDOWN On July 4, Meghan Markle shared a post for Independence Day, which also happens to be the anniversary of her second date with Prince Harry. The short carousel included a photo with a plate of cupcakes in red, white, and blue, with the hand of one of her kids reaching for a sweet treat. The next slide was a selfie of her and Harry that may have been taken on that long-ago date, and then a final picture of a cupcake reading: '4th of July.' In the caption, Meghan wrote, 'Our second date was the 4th of July 2016 and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate. Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition. Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes 🧁' The pair has been together for nine years. In April, Meghan reflected on why she feels the marriage is definitely going to stand the test of time while being interviewed on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. The Duchess of Sussex and Kern are close friends off mic, and Kern asked if Meghan thinks she and Harry will 'be married forever.' Meghan responded, 'Yes,' adding, 'He's also a fox, if you haven't noticed. My husband's very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful.' 'There's something that is not to be taken for granted when you have a partner and a spouse who is just so behind you,' Meghan continued. 'You know, I mean, H, that man loves me so much. And you know, look what we built. We've built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children, [Archie and Lilibet]. And you know, I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Brothers when you get to the final, final level. And what's the goal in Super Mario? They're like, slay the dragon, save the princess. I'm like, that's my just going to do whatever he can to make sure that our family is safe and protected, and we're uplifted and still make time for date nights.'

‘Absolutely not': Maria Shriver says no to dating apps after Schwarzenegger divorce
Maria Shriver isn't swiping right anytime soon. In an interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show this week, the journalist and former first lady of California revealed that her four adult children have encouraged her to try online dating. 'My kids have kidded around going, 'We should make you a dating app,'' said Shriver, 69, referring to Katherine, 35, Christina, 33, Patrick, 31, and Christopher, 27. 'I mean, what do you call it, a dating profile? I'm like 'Absolutely not!'' Shriver, who finalized her divorce from actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2021, made it clear she's content with where she is. 'No, I'm good. I'm finally good on my own, and that's taken a tremendous amount,' she said. ' I have a beautiful life that I'm deeply grateful for.' Since the end of her 25-year marriage, Shriver said she's spent time rethinking her understanding of love and connection. 'I used to think that love came only in an intimate, romantic package, and it made me miss out on all the love that was being offered to me through my friends and through other people,' she said. 'And I've now realized that there's so many different ways to access the love that is there for us, the love that exists for us, because we're so focused on 'dating,' right? Or your marriage, partner, and that nobody can give you everything you're looking for.' She added: 'So I'm really focused on expanding my notion of love, expanding the amount of people that are in my open field so to speak, that bring me love. And so whomever I end up with, if I do end up with someone that way, they're going to be in a village.' Shriver is currently promoting her new book, 'I Am Maria,' a candid exploration of identity, los and renewal. While she remains open to the future, she said she's at peace with the present. 'I've just kind of gotten to the place now where I'm thinking, I don't know, maybe, but my life is really full,' she said. 'I'm not looking, but I'm open to whatever God sends my way.'

Arnold Schwarzenegger fans shocked by Hollywood legend's comments about son's ‘weenie'
Arnold Schwarzenegger has left fans red-faced after getting candid with his son about filming nude scenes. The legendary action star, 77, sat down with son Patrick, 31, for a wide-ranging interview that covered everything from nepotism, Terminator, and the drive to become the biggest star of all time. Yet it's Arnie's comments about Patrick's full frontal scene in The White Lotus season 3 that have left fans aghast. During the interview, which was part of Variety's Actors on Actors series, the Last Action Hero star admitted to being shocked by seeing his son's 'weenie' on TV. 'I couldn't believe [it],' he laughed. 'I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. What is going on here? This is crazy.' Following the interview's publication, however, a number of the star's fans have taken to social media to say how uncomfortable it made them feel. @Harrioson588 wrote on X, 'Absolutely weird and inappropriate. This should not even have been talked about privately, let alone on a public platform.' Meanwhile, @Sassy_0x posted 'They are so wild and weird and creepy,' a feeling echoed by @MayanBronze, who claimed the interview was 'Sooo Creepy….Not funny!' @livnerys, however, went one step further, claiming 'this whole family is weird tbh'. Despite the backlash, there are those who saw the fun side in the pair's exchange. 'Arnold's just being a dad—hilarious and awkward in the best way,' wrote @xpert_growth on X. 'The weenie comment got me [crying with laughter emoji]'. People on Reddit felt the same way with DefinitelytheNSA commenting, 'Watching this whole interview, it was really great to see those father-son moments. You can tell Arnold is really proud of how well his son is doing.' SonofTreehorn added, 'Had no intention of listening to this entire interview. Ended up being a really great discussion that I couldn't turn off. You can feel the love and respect these two have for each other.' Arnie's not the only one of Patrick's parents to let us know how they felt about that nude scene. Patrick's mum, Maria Shriver, 69, laughed off the scene during an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. 'People are like, 'Oh my God, you saw!' [and] I'm like, 'I give birth to him'. It's not such a, you know, I've seen him naked,' she explained. 'I've seen him naked since he was a baby.' While his parents might be able to laugh off the shock, Patrick has admitted to being caught off guard by the 'extent' of his nakedness. 'I didn't know to what extent [there would be nakedness]. You do the auditions but you don't see the full script, so you don't have all the details, then they ask you, 'Are you comfortable with nudity?' when you sign on,' he told The Sunday Times. Meghan Markle Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos of Lilibet for Her 4th Birthday
Meghan Markle celebrated her and Prince Harry's daughter Lilibet's fourth birthday today by sharing four rare photos of their family. Meghan posted two tributes to Lili on Instagram. Her first included a picture of Lili now and one of her at birth. 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!' Meghan wrote. 'Four years ago today she came into our lives—and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!' Her second was focused on Harry's relationship with Lili. 'The sweetest bond to watch unfold 💕,' Meghan wrote. 'Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' Meghan also shared a new photo of Archie last month to fête his sixth birthday. 'Our son. Our sun,' she wrote. 'Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He's six! Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ❤️)' Meghan has been sharing photos of Lili and Archie regularly on Instagram, although she usually posts shots that hide her children's faces to protect their privacy. Today's photos of Lili are special exceptions. The Duchess of Sussex has made a point to thoroughly document Lili and Archie's lives. She sends photos, voice recordings, and videos to secret emails she created for them, which she'll give them as gifts when they are teenagers. 'I thought it was such a great time capsule to create for them, because I still have scrapbooks and photo albums, but we're past that generation now,' she explained on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. When she someday gives them the accounts, she hopes Lili and Archie will 'be able to look back and go, 'Oh my gosh, she has loved us so much,'' Meghan said. 'And that's, I think, the best part about being a mom. And we go back to a love language or gifts. It's not about the grandeur of a gesture. It's about, 'I see you. I'm nurturing you, and I see you so deeply. And I love being able to see your growth.' And I'm just so proud of them.'

Meghan, 43, followed the sweet moment with an image of her holding her daughter close shortly after Lili was born. In addition to the sweet pictures, Meghan—who also shares son Archie with Harry—penned a message in honor of her youngest. 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!
