Michael McIntyre pictured with rarely seen wife as he leads stars at Wimbledon

Comedian Michael McIntyre beamed alongside his wife Kitty as they joined fellow celebrities at Wimbledon Michael McIntyre was all smiles as he cosied up to his glamorous wife Kitty during a rare date at Wimbledon on Monday. The comedian, 49, was spotted looking dapper at the All England Lawn Tennis Club for day eight of the tournament, joining fellow famous faces Gabby and Kenny Logan, as well as Lenny Henry and his partner Lisa Makin. ‌ The second week of the iconic event got underway with No1 seed Jannik Sinner back on Centre Court to face 19th seed Grigor Dimitrov, as the Men's Singles fourth round continued under sunny skies following a damp start to the day. ‌ Michael kept things classic in a sharp navy suit layered over a crisp white shirt and dark tie, while Kitty turned heads in a pink floral mini dress. The aromatherapist, who shares sons Lucas, 20, and Oscar, 17, with the comic, finished her summery look with pastel heels and a matching bag as the couple posed before taking their seats. Also soaking up the action was TV presenter Gabby Logan, 52, who nailed courtside chic in a navy polka dot co-ord teamed with a cream blazer draped over her shoulders. She was joined by husband Kenny, 53, who looked equally smart as they enjoyed the day without their 19-year-old twins Reuben and Lois. ‌ Meanwhile, Lenny Henry, 65, and partner Lisa Makin kept cool in matching summer suits and shades as they enjoyed the sunshine. Lisa, a casting director and theatre producer, has been with the comic for over a decade after they first started dating in 2012. Lenny shares daughter Billie, 34, with ex-wife Dawn French. Despite their long-standing relationship, Lenny and Lisa have largely kept things low-key and out of the spotlight. ‌ Michael, meanwhile, has shared how his own romance with Kitty began when he was 'pretending to be a really cool writer' while trying to break into film. He previously said he hired her to work on his movie, admitting: 'I wasn't very good with girls' at the time. The star sweetly compared his love life to a rom-com, recalling on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2022: 'A long time ago. We met through a friend. She didn't like me for a while. I wanted to get into comedy in some way so I started writing a film - a romantic comedy. I finally got the girl.'

Rebel Wilson forced to undergo emergency surgery after 'freak accident' on set

Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson revealed she had to undergo emergency surgery after she was 'whacked across the face' on a movie set Rebel Wilson was forced to undergo emergency surgery after a 'freak accident' happened on set of her new film, Bride Hard. The 45-year-old Australian star's accident was almost left 'permanently disfigured' after she got 'whacked across the face' while filming a dramatic fight scene on her last day of shooting. She revealed she rushed to see a plastic surgeon after the prop gun smacked her across the face. Luckily, the surgeon stitched her up and "you can't tell" anything ever happened. In a recent chat, she revealed: "A gun accidentally got whacked across my face. It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set." ‌ ‌ Speaking to Access Hollywood, Rebel continued: "It was weirdly my last night of shooting. I was like, 'How unlucky can I be?' I was freaking out. "They take an ambulance, and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn't, I would have been permanently disfigured. So, we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can't tell now." In the upcoming action-comedy movie, Bride Hard, Rebel plays a secret agent named Sam alongside fellow Pitch Perfect actress Anna Camp. Rebel previously talked about the movie during an appearance on the Today Show, which is due to be released on June 20. "There's so much comedy in this, but there's also so much action," she said. "I kick butt… it was hardcore." The actor did all her own stunts in the movie, revealing she did a "bit of a karate" when she was younger. Rebel said: "And at one point when I was 18 and I was a complete idiot, I went in at an all-star martial arts fighting competition and then I got punched in the face and I thought fighting isn't for me. ‌ "But maybe I had some muscle memory left because I do all the fights in this movie and fight off the mercenaries who come to attack the wedding. It was really fun." Other stars in the movie include Anna Chlumsky, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Gigi Zumbado, Stephen Dorff, Justin Hartley and Sherry Cola. Bride Hard has Rebel playing a secret agent who serves as the maid of honour at her childhood best friend's fancy wedding, which is suddenly taken hostage by mercenaries. ‌ It comes after Rebel revealed she had second thoughts about her daughter's name. She welcomed her only child in November 2022, and shared that the unique moniker may have been a mistake for one hilarious reason. Actress Rebel welcomed daughter Royce Lillian via surrogate as a single mum, after making the decision to freeze her eggs as she approached turning 40. While Royce has an unforgettable name, Rebel revealed that as her daughter grows, she might be fitting the title all too well. The star is set to appear on The Jonathan Ross Show this weekend, and told that ITV host that the big name is giving Royce a big personality. "Her name is Royce. I probably shouldn't have named her after a British luxury car brand, she's a bit high maintenance,' Rebel jokingly shared, confirming the connection to fancy Rolls-Royce wheels.

But somewhere between the mindfulness podcasts and the 10-step morning routines, you might find yourself asking - what's the point? Comedian Sharon Wanjohi is asking the same thing.
