WWE Raw gets 'special' early UK start time tonight on Netflix
There's been another schedule change for WWE fans to keep an eye out for on Netflix. After Friday's episode of SmackDown – which was marred by technical issues for over 30 minutes early in the broadcast – started at 6pm, tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw will also have a 'special start time'. Whereas the blue brand's earlier start was down to the company being in Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions, tonight's is a different situation. There's plenty on tap with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER set to appear a couple of weeks before his match against Goldberg at Saturday Night's Main Event. WWE is also pushing on to the upcoming all-women's Evolution premium live event, with plenty going on later tonight. It's not a huge departure from the typical weekly start time of 1am, but it does mean viewers tuning in live on Netflix could be in bed asleep by 1:30am, instead of half an hour into the show. Rhea Ripley kicks off the show Penta & Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker WWE World Tag Team Titles : The New Day (c) vs. The Judgment Day : The New Day (c) vs. The Judgment Day Sheamus vs. Rusev World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER appears Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce make WWE Evolution announcement Whereas recent changes like the Saudi shows and WWE's European dates earlier this year were down to time zones, this is a different situation. Instead, tonight's Netflix broadcast kicks off two hours early because WWE is actually taping both tonight's Raw, and this Friday's episode of SmackDown, on the same night. Friday's episode is on the 4th of July, so WWE has made the decision to pre-tape the show – the first of the return to the two-hour format – and give the talent some time off with their loved ones. Not surprisingly, the WWE Raw roster has been stacked with two superstars and champions since making the worldwide jump to Netflix in January. GUNTHER is at the top of the division as World Heavyweight Champion, while Iyo Sky is currently the Women's World Champion. The men's and women's Intercontinental Championships are held by Dominik Mysterio and Becky Lynch respectively, while The New Day legends Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are World Tag Team Champions. More Trending On the men's side of the Raw roster, former world champ CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Penta, Mr. Money In The Bank Seth Rollins and the latter's crew Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed lead the way, as well as the likes of Finn Balor, Jey Uso Logan Paul, AJ Styles, Karrion Kross, Rusev and Sheamus. Meanwhile, the women's roster is stacked with Kairi Sane, Bayley, Asuka, Lyra Valkyria, Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley. Going into Evolution, the women's roster was rocked recently by a devastating injury to Liv Morgan, who required surgery on a dislocated shoulder. Huge 'WWE Night of Champions 2025' Match Postponed Due to Injury
Huge 'WWE Night of Champions 2025' Match Postponed Due to Injury originally appeared on Athlon Sports. WWE has revealed that a big match previously scheduled for "Night of Champions 2025" is now off the card. Advertisement The initial plan was for Dominik Mysterio to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles in Riyadh on Saturday. During Monday's episode of "Raw," Adam Pearce informed Styles that Mysterio isn't medically cleared for the match. Styles was promised a title shot once Mysterio is ready to return to action. Mysterio hasn't competed since the June 9 episode of "Monday Night Raw." He lost a fatal four-way King of the Ring match featuring Sami Zayn, who ended up winning the match, Bron Breakker, and Penta. Mysterio remains involved in backstage segments on "Raw." He even appeared on TV during Monday's episode of the red brand. It would seem that Mysterio's injury isn't serious enough for WWE to strip him of the IC title. While Liv Morgan won't be featured on "Raw" for the foreseeable future, Mysterio figures to be an important part of the red brand as his storyline girlfriend recovers from an injury of her own. Advertisement WWE is in the midst of a storyline where Mysterio's faction, The Judgment Day, is on the verge of imploding. Balor has seemingly been tearing the group apart ever since Mysterio pinned him at "WrestleMania 41." Balor has introduced Roxanne Perez to the group, which has created tension. Morgan's tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, hasn't taken too kindly to Perez, and Mysterio has been uncomfortable with "The Prodigy's" advances. Time will tell how long it'll take before Mysterio is back in the ring. Related: 'WWE Raw' Results: Who Advances to King and Queen of the Ring Finals at 'Night of Champions 2025?' WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Results As Rhea Ripley Topples Raquel Rodriguez
Rhea Ripley continues her long-running feud with The Judgment Day. (Credit: Rich Freeda/WWE via ... More Getty Images) WWE Night of Champions 2025 marked yet another big win for Rhea Ripley. Ripley, arguably the most protected star in WWE's women's division, nearly fell short in her Street Fight against The Judgment Day's Raquel Rodriguez thanks to some interference from Roxanne Perez. But the nearly unbeatable Ripley was able to overcome both Perez and Rodriguez with an avalanche Riptide for the ages. When WWE announced that Ripley vs. Rodriguez would be a Street Fight, that paved the way for a wonky finish that would allow Ripley to take the loss while still looking strong in defeat. Lo and behold, Ripley was still able to avoid a rare loss, instead beating Rodriguez in resounding fashion. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Results for Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez WWE's creative team had a chance to pull off a shocking loss for Ripley at WWE Night of Champions 2025, but Ripley emerged victorious, after all. Rodriguez was unable to capitalize on the outside interference from Perez in her attempt to give Ripley just her third pinfall defeat since May 2022. Instead, Ripley picked up a big win as she looks to regain the momentum she had in early 2025. There were several notable moments in the match, including: Ripley's seemingly never-ending feud with The Judgment Day has gone on for much of the past two years, with Ripley spending most of that time feuding with Liv Morgan. Morgan, however, recently suffered a devastating shoulder injury that has reportedly caused WWE to scrap a number of creative plans, including significant booking directions for the upcoming Evolution II event. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Results: What's Next For Rhea Ripley? Ripley's win at WWE Night of Champions won't necessarily serve as the end of her feud with The Judgment Day. With Morgan injured, Perez is reportedly set to replace Morgan as one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions during Morgan's absence. Connecting the dots here, Perez is clearly trying to take over Morgan's spot as the commander-in-chief of Judgment Day. That's been going on for months now, and there have been both subtle and obvious signs that this isn't sitting well with Morgan. Prior to her injury, Morgan was reportedly set for a major babyface turn as she continues to soar in popularity thanks to her consistently great performances. Even though Ripley beat Rodriguez at Night of Champions 2025, WWE is clearly laying the groundwork for Morgan to return, form an unlikely alliance with her former rival Ripley and go after Perez, Rodriguez and Judgment Day. That's a potentially intriguing storyline that could get Morgan back to her face roots, unite Morgan and Ripley as a powerhouse duo and ultimately lead to the dismantling of The Judgment Day. Given Morgan's injury that will take some time, but Ripley's WWE Night of Champions win was likely just the start to something really big for Ripley, Morgan and everyone involved.

WWE Night of Champions predictions: John Cena wins? Who becomes King, Queen of the Ring?
WWE's return to Saudi Arabia has the potential to be a compelling night of wrestling. But will it actually? Plenty of notable names will be in the ring for Night of Champions, and while we'll get some highly anticipated matches, the event will mostly set the tone for the rest of summer. The King and Queen of the Ring finals feature some intriguing matchups, and the intensity will be turned up with the winners of each tournament getting a title opportunity at SummerSlam on Aug. 2-3. That also includes the three singles matches taking place, which feel like the start of rivalries. Plus, there's two of the biggest names in the past 20 years in wrestling will square off for likely the last time in John Cena and CM Punk. Will Cena's reign of terror continue, or will Punk pull off another signature title moment? USA TODAY Sports' wrestling reporters give their Night of Champions predictions: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross Jordan Mendoza: After fans have been clamoring for months, Kross gets his first premium live event match in more than a year. He really has pushed Zayn's buttons recently, and it's gotten us pretty close to seeing a different side of him. Kross sacrifices himself to bring out Zayn's dark side, setting the tone for a possible heel run. While he is the loser, Kross is the one at the end laughing. Winner: Sami Zayn. Richard Morin: Kross has been the devil on Zayn's shoulder for several weeks now, attempting to turn the well-liked Zayn against himself. Kross, who has become a fan favorite since WrestleMania weekend, can accomplish his goals even without a win if he forces Zayn to compromise himself during the match. Winner: Sami Zayn. Street fight: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez Jordan Mendoza: It's refreshing to see Ripley do something outside of a title run. Rodriguez really is the only person that can match with Ripley's power style of wrestling, so the chemistry will be something to watch as they each try to unleash punishing blows. With no disqualification, it's practically a guarantee Roxanne Perez shows up to help her new "friend" in Rodriguez. "The Prodigy" gets involved to make sure The Judgment Day member wins and sets the stage for the new Women's Tag Team Champions with Liv Morgan out. Winner: Raquel Rodriguez. Richard Morin: With Liv Morgan out due to injury, the WWE is kicking off its pivot program with a very cool match here. Rodriguez, who is currently a tag champion with Morgan, has clashed with Ripley in recent weeks. Roxanne Perez continues to earn Rodriguez's good graces by helping her defeat Ripley. Ultimately, I see this leading to a tag-team match at Evolution with Nikki Bella pairing with Ripley. Winner: Raquel Rodriguez. United States Championship match: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa Jordan Mendoza: A match that's been brewing for months, and it should be a definite treat. There's no denying the in-ring skill of Fatu, but this one will bring one of the best versions of Sikoa. He's great at being comedic relief, but the intensity of this will be reminiscent of the NXT toughness he had. Sikoa would be the best person to take the title off Fatu, but it's still too early to make that move. Perhaps JC Mateo gets in the fold and inadvertently costs Sikoa the match, or there's a punishing attack afterward. But the title stays with the "Samoan Werewolf." Winner: Jacob Fatu. Richard Morin: I saw this match as a better for SummerSlam, but here we are. With the lack of build for what could be a very emotional match, it's hard to see Fatu dropping the title at Night of Champions. Winner: Jacob Fatu. Queen of the Ring final: Asuka vs. Jade Cargill Jordan Mendoza: A match you wouldn't expect to see, but will really test each stars' skills against contrasting styles. Asuka is among the top talent in the ring and Cargill will really be tested in her ability to survive it. Even though Cargill is billed as an unstoppable force, this is a different version of Asuka. Whether it's the old entrance music or the more serious tone, she is back on the way to dominate the women's division. Asuka hands Cargill her first clean singles loss, and sets up the amazing match against Iyo Sky. Winner: Asuka. Richard Morin: I picked Naomi to win Money in the Bank because the three-way feud between her, Cargill and Bianca Belair needs a world title in the mix to bring it to the next level. If Naomi cashes in successfully and Cargill wins here, we can get the dream match at SummerSlam for the WWE Women's Championship. Winner: Jade Cargill. King of the Ring final: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton Jordan Mendoza: The teacher and student finally meet again. They have long been intertwined and after several times on the same team, they get to go against each other. There's a strong case to be made for either to get the championship match. Orton has been so close to title No. 15 and he could get Cena again. Rhodes wants his title back and should get the rematch. "The American Nightmare" gets the better of it to set the stage for a WrestleMania rematch at SummerSlam. Winner: Cody Rhodes. Richard Morin: WWE wants to run it back between Rhodes and Cena at SummerSlam so this one feels fairly easy to project. It's a bit strange they felt the need to use the KOTR vehicle to do it since Rhodes pinned Cena at Money in the Bank, but here we are. The best we can hope for is planting the seeds for a future feud between Rhodes and Orton. Winner: Cody Rhodes. Undisputed WWE Championship match: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk Jordan Mendoza: It's a shame this matchup isn't happening at SummerSlam, but that's just how Cena's farewell tour works. Plus, it's still a must-watch event. Punk has really brought out the best version of heel Cena, and the "pipe bomb" was excellent TV. That type of animosity will be on display again in their first match against each other since 2013. Expect this one to follow the typical script we've seen from Cena's recent matches: the challenger looks to be closing in on the win, until Cena pulls something to prevent it from happening. The champion then capitalizes and walks away with the title. However, this should be Cena's best match of 2025 so far. Winner: John Cena. Richard Morin: I don't know when, or if, Cena will drop the title before he leaves but it still feels too early. After Cena's pipe bomb reprisal, it feels as though the John Cena Retirement Tour has finally started. I see Seth Rollins teasing a cash-in here, but it ultimately costs Punk the match while Rollins continues to wait for his moment. Winner: John Cena.

Cathy Kelley loses it over Liv Morgan's flirty Father's Day message for Dominik Mysterio
Liv Morgan is no stranger to stirring up buzz both inside the ring and outside it. This time, the former WWE Women's Champion sparked a flurry of reactions after posting a bold and flirty message for fellow WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio on Father's Day. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In an Instagram post that quickly went viral, Morgan shared a romantic tribute to Dominik with the caption: 'Happy Father's Day to the world's best daddy, my Daddy Dom 😍😘🫶 @dominik_35.' The post featured a playful picture accompanied by affectionate emojis - a nod to the ongoing 'LivDom' storyline that has caught the attention of fans and WWE stars alike. Cathy Kelley's reaction adds to the drama While the post was intended to celebrate the on-screen chemistry between Morgan and Mysterio, not everyone was entirely sold. WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley chimed in with a cheeky comment of her own, writing: 'I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.' Her reaction summed up what many fans were likely thinking, a mix of amusement and disbelief. The comment section was soon flooded with responses, ranging from fans cheering the 'couple' to others joking about Mysterio's real-life relationships. One user quipped, 'His wife is the strongest woman alive,' while another added, 'I'm sure Dom's wife loves this post 😂.' Liv Morgan sidelined with legitimate injury Morgan recently suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match against Kairi Sane on RAW. The bout was halted mid-way, and Morgan was later escorted backstage, visibly in pain. WWE confirmed the injury during the broadcast, and she has since been ruled out of action indefinitely. According to reports, the injury is legitimate and could potentially keep her out for several weeks depending on its severity. The unfortunate timing also puts a pause on several storylines, including her budding feud with Roxanne Perez and her ongoing arc with Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Liv Morgan's injury has paused her in-ring momentum, but her storyline with Dominik Mysterio continues to generate interest. Their chemistry, built on flirtatious segments and social media teases - had hinted at deeper tensions within The Judgment Day, especially with Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez stirring the pot. Now, with Morgan potentially sidelined for weeks, WWE might have to pivot the narrative or delay its progression. Still, her viral Father's Day message shows the angle hasn't lost steam. Whether WWE builds her absence into the storyline or saves her return for a dramatic twist, 'LivDom' remains a talking point. Also Read:
